Story
We adopted Talia from a local animal shelter. She is a sweetheart with lots of energy but is not a good fit for our family. She is trainable she know sit and down but struggles with stay. We worry that she was abused in the past because she seems overly anxious at times and is afraid of sudden movements. She is not good with cats she will chase them. She is also snappy with children.

Border Collie Labrador Retriever

Size
(when grown) Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
Details
Good with kids, Not good with dogs, Needs experienced adopter, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Xena is a very energetic dog who would be great for someone who likes to go on runs, bike rides, play fetch, or even go on car rides. She is very sweet and affectionate, and prefers time indoors rather than outdoors unless she is going to the bathroom, play time, etc. She loves to cuddle and sleep with you at night and very much enjoys being wrapped up in warm blankets. Xena can be picky with dog food so I am really hoping to have someone with the patience to find the right one by maybe taking her to the pet store. She knows how to sit, come here, and her name. She loves to play in water (swimming, hoses, etc.). She jumps on people and licks people but could easily be told to stop. Xena has separation anxiety when left outside overnight or alone. She is better off being inside when no one is home. Xena is friendly with new people, but not the best with other dogs. She is not aggressive, but plays rough and risks injuring the other dog.

Story
Tumbles was tossed out of car when she was about 8 weeks old. The lady in the car behind stopped & picked the puppy up. She was going to keep the puppy but puppy was coughing. She brought the puppy in to the DVM where I work. Animal Control was now involved. Puppy was allowed to be adopted about two weeks later. A receptionist took the puppy but her daughter kept letting puppy get out of her kennel & a large dog attacked her. Receptionist then gave puppy to me as my brother was going to take puppy. Then my brother's girlfriend said "no more dogs". My mom adopted Tumbles. My mom dies 5/2018. My day had the dogs but he dies 2/2019. I now have their three dogs & my three dogs. Too many dogs on the bed! I have 4 chihuahuas & a Jack Russell & Tumbles. Tumbles will fight with the other dogs. Sometimes a three & four way fight. Tumbles did like to play with my cat.

Husky

Size
(when grown) Large 61-100 lbs (28-45 kg)
Details
Good with kids, Good with dogs, Good with cats, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
To be honest, Koda overall is a great dog. He’s lived with dogs, cats, young kids. I am just at my limit for tolerance of his needy behavior. His whining and persistence gives me anxiety and our bond has been broken. He needs a place that can give him attention and where he is valued. He is outgoing and playful, but living in an apartment stifles his spirit. His current behavior issues are going to the bathroom in the house if we don’t move fast enough to get him out. Have a yard I’m sure would solve that problem. Otherwise he is just a normally happy husky personality. Looking for a new home ASAP.
