Story
I’ve had this beautiful dog for 10 years. I just went through a very difficult divorce. I am moving out of state and cannot take all four dogs that I have. I am looking for a wonderful loving home for this incredible dog. He’s in wonderful shape, loves to ride in cars, loves to play, and loves to sleep under the covers and cuddle. This is the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do in my life and I pray I find somebody to help me on this website.

Story
Dakota is 3 years old and has recently become defensive and uneasy since moving to a smaller apartment. She growls and lunges at other dogs while walking and bit our other dog while trying to food-guard. She’s trained well and is super sweet, she’s just not adjusting to the smaller space well and it’s not fair to keep her where she’s uncomfortable. Someone who has more space and more time for her would be perfect for her to live happier.

(when grown) Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
Details
Not good with dogs, Not good with cats, Needs special attention, Needs experienced adopter, House-trained,
Story
This is SoLo. She is an unspayed female. 1 year old, pit bull mix. She is untrained but not untrainable. She is unsocialized with other dogs (or animals in general) and comes off as aggressive as she has no idea what she is doing. She needs a tight harness or strong training collar to be walked, along with a thick, solid leash. ( Leash training in progress ) She needs an experienced person who has the knowledge, patience, time and ability to work with her. She needs space to run and has to be in a securely enclosed area when lose. She gets tunnel vision when she sees another dog and has the ability to bunny hop over a short fence. (5 feet) Full confidence in her progress must be achieved before interacting with the general public. She was about 10 weeks old when taken from her mother under the care of a woman, ( the owner) who was homeless and lived in a moterhome. Limited, cramped space, no training. Solo's frustration is building to dangerous levels. I'm trying to save her.

Story
Kai is a wonderful 2-year old pitbull terrier. His first year he lived in a shelter in Austin, Texas. There is a dog training school, Starmark Academy, that takes shelter dogs and has students train them in order to boost their chances of adoption. While attending this school, Kai was my lucky training partner and we fell in love and thus I adopted him into the family and brought him back to our home in California. He has tons of energy and is always ready to play, but he also has a tender side and cuddles better than any dog I have ever seen. He has a very nice, bubbly personality that is infectious. Loves every person he has ever met. He is fully leash trained to go on comfortable walks and runs, some experience with proper commands and leash control would be helpful. He is kennel trained, place trained and was taken through agility courses but needs a brush up on that. A new home for this guy could be anyone who will give him the exercise and attention he needs!
