Story
I adopted Layla in January from the Sacramento SPCA. They suspected she was 5 years old, but she may be older. We established a very strong bond immediately. She is sweet, affectionate, somewhat lazy, and remarkably quiet. She likes to play with other dogs and humans alike, she is great with kids, she doesn't shed and is very nonreactive. She seems to be deaf, meaning she doesn't respond to any noises or verbal commands but does respond to visual commands (sit, down, stay). I love this dog terribly, so it pains me to create this profile, but I am beginning to travel extensively as my business continues to grow, so I have come to accept she may be better off in a home where she can enjoy more consistency and attention.

Story
I adopted Jax from a local shelter about 2 years ago when he was about 5 1/2-6 years old (based on shelter records) so he’s around 7 years old now. He has an abundance of energy, which means he would like a large yard where he can run around and play. He gets along well with most dogs; I’ve noticed he gets along best with small-medium females and rarely with males of dominant breeds. He’s very loving, enjoys a good snuggle, LOVES tennis balls (but will try to eat it). He doesn’t like being alone very much so a family home with older kids would be good for him or even somewhere with someone home most times of the day. His predatory instincts are very high with small animals like squirrels and cats. Indoors he listens to commands and is treat motivated, but once outside he’s easily distracted, so he’ll need leash training and a patient handler. He can be the perfect family dog for the right home!

Story
Ellie is a 8-9 year old senior dog I rescued 2 years ago from Yolo County Animal shelter. I had originally looked for a puppy to help aid with my sickness, But when I met her had learned she had reached her limit on fosters and I did not want her to be euthanized . Ellie is very cuddly, sweet, loves children , but is dog aggressive so needs a home with no animals. She in the last 6 months has become slightly ill and it is hard for her to hold her bladder but she does wear doggy diapers and can hold it to go outside. She would come with 6 pairs of washable diapers and aided crating and toys. I am in a situation where I need to leave my housing due to domestic dispute and my new landlord will not accept my pet even as an ESA but I have no other housing choices. I am afraid if I give her to a rescue she will be put down for her special needs. Looking for a loving and patient family for this goof ball. She will kiss you forever. I wish things were different, but she deserves the world.

Story
Coby is a very affectionate andactive 1.5 yr old 20 lbs golden retriever / small poodle / cocker spaniel / chihuahua mix who would be a blessing to his doting forever family, preferably with another playful dog. He loves to play fetch with his favorite frisbee and balls, to play with the neighbor's dog, to eat clean nutritious food and to snuggle. He is good with children, good with cats and good with most dogs. Coby has been very well cared for, taken puppy classes and socialized at the HSSV in Milpitas for the first 6 months of his life, and goes to the Dr Karen Lee at the Los Gatos holistic vet. He is in good health however he didn't get further vaccinations due to his allergies. He will need training to be alone and will come with CBD oil for anxiety during the transition but he will adjust quickly to a happy family. Also we have excellent Pet Plan insurance for him paid for until August 2020 which covers holistic and allopathic care and can be extended

Story
Tierra is a wonderful sweet and lovable baby. I am giving her up because i am going through alot and am so busy i havent been able to take good care of her. she is excitable and loves walks. she is outside and pee pad trained. she loves to chew on a lamby stuffed animal from doc mcstuffins {cvs pharmacy has it ;) }. I ask for no money i just want her to have a loving home. she is 3 now, i found her and no one claimed her, so i kept her. Giving her up is hard for me because we have bonded very closley, but its best for her and so, emotions aside, i have too.
