Story
Acquired pet due to attraction of the breed. Illidan is approximately 4yrs old. In a new home, Illidan needs someone who is confident in working with larger breeds. He is a big baby so he whines or snaps easily when he feels scared. Hes the bark/growl type when threatened but ultimately a lover. Slower movements and trust building are essential to new beginnings with Illidan.

Story
She's a 5-6-year-old Great Pyrenees with lots of love to give. She's from South Korea but ended up as a stray. She likes to play with other dogs but doesn't want to share her affection, therefore she must be the only dog in the home. She would do best in an adult home She knows how to sit on command and is house-trained and ready for a new, loving home. She's a big cuddle bunny, a funny animated clown and has lots of energy. She is sweet and loving and she is such a devoted dog. She needs someone who understands Great Pyrenees and all she wants is someone to love her and please you. Note: Great Pyrenees are considered a Giant Breed. The average weight can be 100lbs. or more. They bark, shed and have a wanderlust, so secure fences are a must-have. They are NOT off-leash dogs and a Pyr off-leash is called a "dis'a'Pyr". Some Pyrs do well with other dogs and some don't because by the virtue of the breed traits they were bred to keep out intruders and can consider some dogs as intruders. While they make wonderful pets and family dogs, they aren't for everyone so be sure to understand and learn about the breed traits of this breed or any breed you might be considering.

Story
Hi, my name is JACK and I'm a neutered 14-month-old male. My sister, Jill and I were brought to rescue because our owners could no longer keep us. We were going to be put to sleep because no one wanted us. I am a sweetheart and affectionate and love to cuddle. I do need secure fencing and it would be great if you could fall in love with my sister too so we could stay together. I love to go for walks with the volunteers and ride nicely in the car and was a good boy for the vet. I'm young, handsome and ready to have a home that will love and take care of me. I would be suited for a small farm and have been around other animals. I love to run and play with children. I'm looking for love and someone who will keep me forever. I'm a really nice guy! Story
Hi, my name is JILL and I'm a spayed 14-month-old female. My brother Jack and I were brought to rescue because our owners could no longer keep us. We were going to be put to sleep because no one wanted us. I am a sweetheart and affectionate and love to cuddle. I do need secure fencing and it would be great if you could fall in love with my brother too so we could stay together. I need secure fences, love children and would be suited for a small farm and have been around livestock. I love to go for walks with the volunteers and ride nicely in the car and was a good girl for the vet. Do you think you could love and keep me forever? I have a long life ahead of me and I get better and better all of the time. Story
Hi, my name is MASON and I'm an 10-month-old neutered male Great Pyrenees X Labrador mix. I'm lovable, very big and very strong despite being a big chicken sometimes. I need to go to finishing school to learn some social graces. Will you work with me and show me what to do. I've come a long way since being here at the rescue. I'm a work in progress but, a fast learner and I will need your guidance. I love everyone but because of my size and the fact that I'm still a clumsy baby myself, the rescue lady wants me in a home with adults and in a home where I'm the only dog. I'm affectionate and sweet and respond to affection and just want to snuggle. Story
Nicholas has a broken right hind leg that has fused with a calcification from one break in the bone to the other. He can walk and because of his age and the age of the injury, veterinarians aren't sure it's a good idea to do surgery. We are having another work up done to determine what's best for him and if he needs surgery we will do it. He's been like that for quite a while and has adapted. I got a haircut but my coat is growing in and will soon be very pretty and full. Note: Great Pyrenees are considered a Giant Breed. The average weight can be 100lbs. or more. They bark, shed and have a wanderlust, so secure fences are a must-have. They are NOT off-leash dogs and a Pyr off-leash is called a "dis'a'Pyr".
