Story
14 year old Harley's story broke our hearts and we are so relieved to have him with us. He was a devoted companion to his elderly dad for so many years. His daddy just passed away and his very last wish for his dog and cat to be safe and loved. Both are (Harley here and his sister Cissie), thanks to the efforts of the kind Earth Angel who cared for their dad. She saved them, reached out to us for help, and here they are. Harley gets along well with dogs and cats. While still mourning the loss of his dad, Harley has found the wag in his tail again and is a happy boy. He's loving the adventures he goes on with his foster family and is grateful to be part of the family.

Story
Kekoa came to us after her mom could no longer care for herself or her dogs. While she is still a little skittish, she overall settled right into her foster home and she is being a delightful little house guest! Our sweet girl is very friendly and good with dogs and kids. She's lived with a cat at some point in her life so may be okay with cats. Kekoa is one good girl! She sleeps in an open crate every night and is house trained. She loves to jump on the bed when her foster parents are up there and her favorite thing is to be pet and loved on by them. We think she's about 7 years old. Kekoa is a fantastic little girl who will be a great companion for a very lucky family!

Story
Skittles came to us along with two siblings after their mom could no longer care for herself or her dogs. He is settling nicely into his foster home and is being a wonderful little house guest! Skittles will need a bit of time and patience as he settles in to a new home - but he will settle in and be a very devoted little companion. He came to us on the timid side but is doing very well adapting to his new environment. He is used to living with other small dogs and may even give them kisses. Because he is on the timid side, he'll do best in a home with no children. He is showing signs of being house trained. We think that he's about 11 years old. Skittles has shown us that he loves to sun himself, he sleeps through the night and he enjoys looking dapper in his warm clothing!

Story
Snippet came to us from the local animal shelter and we are so happy to have him with us! After a couple of days of settling in and being a little nervous, he feels safe and sound now in his foster home and is part of the family. Our little wonder boy is good with cats and dogs. Once he got used to the routine, house training has been perfect and he sleeps through the night with no problems. He is 9 lbs and we think that he's about 8 years old. Snippet is a perfect energy level, loves to be out and about and also loves to hold down the couch. He's a very easy boy to have around.
