Story
We got Luffy when my husband and I were stationed in Colorado due to a battle buddy being deployed and they didn’t have anyone to watch after him. Unfortunate that person passed on and we had to keep him. He’s been a great dog but we’re not sure why he’s always been such an anxious and skiddish dog. Now that we’re in California, we’re having to rehome him because he does not get along with any of our neighbors dogs and it’s sad to see him have to wear a muzzle or have to stay indoors all the time. He is 4 years old and is just the biggest cuddly bear. It really pains us to have to rehome him but we know that he deserves better than this.

Story
My name is Richard and our family has two huskies who are 1.5 years old. Taika is male and Maya is female. Taika is a 75 pound gentle giant where his sister is a 45 pound ball of energy. We are self employed (and not first time parents of huskies so we know how much work it takes to raise these breeds), and have always had the time to dedicate to these dogs. Unfortunately, we will be traveling for work a great deal over the next two years and we have had to make the most difficult decision to give our pups up for adoption. We would love for them to stay together if at all possible. They are all up to date with vaccinations, both are fixed and chipped. Both are also house broken and very good with kids. As you can imagine, we are heartbroken but it’s in the best interest of the dogs.

Story
I adopted Deanie from Pets In Need (petsinneed.org) in 2006. She's around 13 1/2 years old now (estimated) but still very healthy and full of life. She is crate-trained and has no problem sleeping through the night (in another room from me). She also loves to sleeps in her crate in the same room with me (sometimes that's needed...such as July 4 because of the fireworks noise). She is on the quiet side and seldom barks. She has no separation anxiety. I sometimes will be at work for 10 to 12 hours with no problem. She is also house trained and can easily last that long without going outside. She loves people and really just likes to lay beside you on the sofa while you watch TV. All her vaccines are up-to-date and since the day I adopted her, she has been getting regular 6 month examination at Bansfield Hospital. Everyone (friends/relatives, pets hotel, ROVER.com) who has dog sat her said she is very easy to take care. Unfortunately, I need to relocate to another state in June 2020.
