Story
I'm Newp ! I am 22 lbs. of happiness and they say I'm a Beagle mix. I am neutered, very healthy and I am only 7 years old. I like hanging out with the cat and the Chihuahua (my buddy) who live in this house. I don't think I have been socialized because I don't like all dogs and I don't like critters in the yard!!! I just like hanging out with a family and cuddling. Cuddling is my favorite thing. Otherwise, I am a thinker and these people say I am really smart. I get anxious with loud noises and people outside but treats can divert my attention so I can be a good boy. I am looking for the right happy, loving family to move in with. I know you're out there somewhere :) If you think you're it, please fill out the application so my people can talk to you, then maybe we can meet ! That would make me very happy. Hope to see you soon! Newp

Story
Oliver, the tricolor dog, is about 10 years old and quite the lover. He loves to give kisses. We got him at the shelter several in 2011 and he's been vaccinated annually. He would do best in a place with a yard. He gets along with cats, dogs, and older children but is scared of small kids.

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
I deeply love my rescue, Aurora. She is a gorgeous husky-shepherd mix who is intelligent and loyal to those she considers as part of her 'pack'. We recently moved to California. Prior to our move, we spent every day hiking a trail together (off-leash) for about 1-2 hours. The issue that we're currently facing is this: Aurora is a high-energy dog with anxiety issues in a few, very specific scenarios. First, she has a furious hatred for/anxiety induced by skateboards. Our new home is on a University campus and skateboards are plentiful. As a result, we experience bouts of aggression, leash pulling, and lots of barking/whimpering, which makes walking difficult these days. Second, there are no off-leash trails within a reasonable driving distance from our home. Finally, Aurora is jealous with balls and exhibits aggression towards other dogs when they try to take them. This means that dog parks are not an option for us. Thus, Aurora cannot get the exercise that she needs on a daily basis.
