Story

Seabass was adopted as a puppy about five years ago by well meaning young men in their 20s, however they didn’t have the time or means to train and care for him properly. We adopted him from them a year ago. Since that time, my husband has been diagnosed with early onset dementia and I no longer have time to properly love and care for Seabass the way he deserves. We are looking for a loving home with dog owners who will provide consistent training and love for him. Because of his past, he does suffer a bit from separation anxiety and he needs someone who is patient with him and can take him on walks/give him ample exercise. He loves to snuggle on the couch with us and take long hikes. He usually likes other dogs, but sometimes doesn't. He barks at anything unknown including strangers, so he's a great watch dog but it takes patience to keep that in check. Loves treats and will behave for food! He feels threatened, in competition with children, so we recommend adult only household.

He had full eye double entropian where his eyelashes were inside out. We raised the money to correct his eyes and make him happy! He is dog friendly, cuddly and playful. Currently in my foster care I am going to the beach, on leash, and go to a dog park on occasion, along with being provided long walks. I am good with most dogs as long as they don't overwhelm me. I am a bit of an escape artist, rather known being a Min Pin, though I am a mix. Once I get to know my people I trust and want to be with them Love to cuddle on a warm lap and hang out with my foster family. I have a good appetite, and burn my calories with my active lifestyle and very fit. If your have the time and lifestyle. It would be best for me to be in a home with children over 12 years. It would be fun to live wtih a critter, like a mellow cat or dog, but I would be happy also being on my own as long as someone could provide me some quality time. She is being fostered in a home with both small and large dogs and cats. She can be shy with people when she first meets them but warms up. She loves to steal shoes and hide them, and will chew on them on occasion, and ineed to watch her as she may try to sneak a bite of your food if you are not watching. If you are looking for a fun little critter, active but also loves to cuddle Cappi may be for you. She would be best in a home with another little dog so she can play.
