Story
Cruise is looking for a foster home while he waits for his forever family. If you can help out please read his bio. This is Cruise, he is a 18 month old shepherd/hound mix. Cruise is very loving. He especially loves his soft floppy ears to be scratched. Cruise knows sit and down. He loves his walks. Cruise desperately wants to be loved. This boy needs a home with a family. He is good with kids, but has a lot of energy so a home with older kids would be better fit. Cruise is living with two other large dogs and is doing okay with them. He is a pushy dog though and we think it would be simplest if he goes to a home as an only dog. We are not recommending he go to a home with cats. Cruise would do best if his people are at home more than they are gone. He bonds tightly to his person and it would be good if he had more than one person in his life. Cruise is stubborn and quirky. He is crate trained, and does not mind going into a crate, but when he wants out he can easily get out of a regular crate. Cruise is not destructive in his current foster home. Cruise is a dog that should not be left alone for long periods of time. In his new home he needs love, time and a committed family who are not going to give up on him. Cruise is fully vetted and ready to go to his forever home. Cruise’s wish list includes an active family who loves his floppy ears and does not mind scratching his ears and chest all the time. It makes him melt. Cruise enjoys walks on the beach, walks in the mountains, pretty much anywhere, Cruise is game.

Nyla is a very sweet staffordshire bull terrier. She is 3 years old. She came to us as a puppy. She loves people and doesn’t like to be alone too much. Nyla is healthy and happy. We are heartbroken to be rehoming her, but she and our other female dog have not been getting along. She will make a wonderful pet for someone that does not have other pets. She is well trained and will be a great companion.

Story
Backyard dog. Dog and cat friendly. Extremely fearful of humans, but absolutely not aggressive. He just won't come to you. Sonny was netted during the Carr fires that raveged the Reading area of Northern California in 2018. He was suffering greatly in the shelter, and at a rescue so they asked for an immediate foster. Turns out, Sonny is a feral dog, with no exposure to humans to create that bond. Unless you're able to dedicate lots of time, and patience to rehabilitate him, which could take a long time, and he'll likely never be like a normal dog. Otherwise, Sonny is a sweet dog who prefers hanging out in the backyard under the stars - practically. He'll raise the alarm for intruders, but won't approach/attack a human. He loves bonding with other dogs, it just takes him time. He is not dog aggressive.

Story
Ziva is a beautiful female German Shepherd who has a lovely disposition. We estimate she is about one year old. She is a fun, active dog and she loves to play. Ziva has been working with a trainer and is learning about properly meeting other dogs and people. She knows sit, stay and down. Ziva is crate trained and waits patiently to come out of her crate. Ziva has a lot of puppy energy but is willing and wants to learn. She is great with other dogs but is too pushy to live with a cat. Due to her energy and youth Ziva should go to a home with a person or family with German Shepherd, or other working-dog experience. This girl is ready for her forever home. Story
Bandit came to us as a feral dog living in a walnut orchard. He was mistreated by people. So he is best with a women once he gets to know her. He is very affectionate once he trust you. Will sleep in bed with you. He would be best in a home with a single women with out other people coming in and out. Very quiet does not mess with anything. Loves all other animals. Would not hurt anything or anyone. Call darlene for more info 925 914-1416 All of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, up to date on their shots and have a wellness check-up prior to a adoption being finalized. Keep in mind that any dog in a new environment, regardless of training and age will need your attention in the potty training department during a transition.
