She's a low energy senior, she likes her walks, but loves her naps. She is any family’s “go to” nanny. LOVES kids, will watch them play all day, and then give you a big therapeutic hug at the end of it. She's the sweetest thing to come home to at the end of a work day, better yet, she's a great home office dog. Quietly sleeping at your feet as you build your empire. Story
This handsome gentleman, all 80 pounds of him, is the best ""Starter Pitbull"" you could ever ask for. He's snuggly, lovely, loves to play ball, lay at your feet, sunbathe and chase lizards. He will choose a nap over a hike everyday of the week. At 10 years old, he's enjoying retirement and doesn't require very much exercise. He has been known to be a bit stubborn on a walk if he wants to investigate a little longer...he will pancake all 80 pounds in protest. What can we say, no one is perfect! He seems to be indifferent to dogs he has met on leash, big and small. He has also showed no interest in cats, however a cat that likes dogs is preferred. Loves people!

Story
Precious, pint-sized and the cutest little diaper booty is our Jacquie. This sweet girl experienced some stress in her former home which caused her to lose some fur on her back and hind quarters but thankfully she’s now living the dream in a foster home with dogs of all sizes and she’s even growing new fur! Her foster tells us that Jacquie is super sweet, a very funny and silly girl and she loves stealing all of the large dog beds from her much larger canine housemates. This senior sweetie is looking for a forever home that will indulge her love of big beds, will take her out for multiple short walks daily and give her lots of love. Being an older girl, she can have a bit of incontinence sometimes which is why she is looking oh so cute in her diaper which she wears at night. Jacquie would do best in a home with a doggie door so that she can let herself out for bathroom breaks when her human companion is away but would also flourish in an attentive home where she would be given bathroom breaks throughout the day. With her new fur and the latest in diaper fashion, this girl is ready to meet her forever family.

Story
Cheyenne came to us as a teen mom. All of her pups were placed and she wasn't. We have been loving her ever since in foster care. She's the poster girl for Athletic Dog of the Year! She loves getting her cardio in with long walks on her Gentle Leader. She loves working out her big brain by practicing her commands, Sit, Down, Paw, Other Paw, Stay, Touch & Leave It. She enjoys play/life balance too and is the perfect home office dog, just lays next to you while you work. She can be a little over kissy sometimes, but that's not really a bad thing. She's potty trained, can use a dog door and, oh yes — LOVES car rides. Come meet her and see for yourself. Cheyenne is a young, active girl who will benefit from a structured home. She's reactive to other dogs currently, but with work, improvement could be made. She is very responsive to training.

Story
I got Lola from the pound about a year ago. She is about 5 years old and is a strong black and white Siberian Husky with piercing blue eyes. I have been trying to make it work because i don't want Lola to end up back in the pound. I live in an apartment and am not very active. She would be happier in a home with a yard and a stronger more active owner. Lola does shed a lot and loves to pull when i walk her which is not good for my bad back. She is super good with kids and loves playing with them. With small animals i'm not so sure but i would say no only because she may hurt them while playing not meaning to. Lola will make a great companion but not much of a "guard dog" as she loves and welcomes everyone into the home. I wish we were a good match because she is a beautiful loving dog but it not fair for either of us to keep forcing our situation to work.
