Breed: Labrador mix DOB: 10/2011 Gender: male Altered: yes Color(s): black/white Size: medium Coat: medium Description: Hi, I'm Tony an affectionate Labrador mix who is good with children. I'm in need of a new home as I stopped getting along with the other dogs in the home as they constantly trigger me. I'd do best as the only dog in the home, but may do ok with a non alpha dog. I'm very well behaved, love walks and being with people. I'm a great cuddle bug too. I do like to chase cats, birds and squirrels, but it seems as I just want to play. I've had formal training and know basic commands including heal, down and leave it. If I sound like the guy for you, please stop by and meet me. Available to foster or adopt!Breed: American Staffordshire Terrier X DOB: est. 5/2012 Gender: female Altered: yes Coat: short Size: medium Color(s): brown/white Description: ***Needs a Foster Home*** This dog is in need of a foster home as well as a permanent home. If you are interested in fostering call the Adoption Center at (805) 644-PETS (7387). Hi, I'm Sienna and I’m a gorgeous, red-head looking for love and a forever home. I am in the prime of my life at just 6 years old and not looking a day older (I actually think I look half my age!). I maintain a slender figure at 45 pounds by playing my favorite sport…chasing tennis balls. In addition to playing tennis, I enjoy hiking and long walks. To keep up with the latest pet trends I’ve been practicing Nose Work and let me tell you I am a total Rockstar at it! So, I am not only beautiful and fit but also, I am a scent savvy knockout! By the way, I can smell my favorite volunteer from the moment she comes through the front gate! I love the attention that I get from my gorgeous look. I won’t deny a belly rub or a scratch to anyone but I don’t like competing for your love. I would prefer to be the only pet at home so you can have this all this redhead power just for you! I walk nice on leash but I can get distracted if I sense some “hater eyes” from other canines. I don’t like to talk about my past much but in case you are wondering I was found as a stray almost 3 years ago. I spent almost 2 years at the Camarillo shelter and due to the wonderful work on my favorite volunteer I now live at Canine Adoption Rescue League. I get frequent walks and I get to see the beautiful Santa Paula mountains. But, after almost 3 years what my heart years for is a forever home. Would you give me that chance? *Thank you to Sharon for sponsoring this wonderful dog at the Burnice Kraemer Sanctuary and giving her the chance for a better life. Additional information: *Needs home with no dogs *Current on shots

Story
Breed: Chow DOB: est. 1/2009 Gender: male Altered: yes Coat: long Size: medium Color(s): red Description: Hi, I'm Brazil a handsome Chow rescued in memory of Blake Donovan from a shelter in LA. While at the shelter I did fine with a calm female dog, but didn't care for other male or active dogs. While at C.A.R.L. I've participated in playgroups and I've done fine with the other dogs. I'm less active and more reserved and independent. I can be mouthy when I get tired of contact or do not want to go along with your plans. I'm grateful to have been rescued and I know the C.A.R.L. volunteers and staff will shower me with love and attention until I find my forever home. Additional information: *Current on shots
