Story
Olof is a black and white 5 year old Cane Curso Mastiff. He is 160 lbs and very aggressive with my other dogs. We have had him checked out with the vet and they found nothing wrong. I also have 3 children at my house with two of them being smaller kids. We love him very much and it breaks our heart to re home him but for the safety of him self and the other dogs we feel this is what we need to do. He is a loving kind hear-ted dog who loves to cuddle every night in bed with my husband and I . He loves to run around and play with sticks balls and ropes. He is very good with children and is the sweetest boy. He just needs a home where he is the only dog.

Story
Sunny's story. One of our volunteers was at a home to pick up some severely neglected dogs and noticed little Sunny next door at the neighbor's house. She could see her little leg tucked up under her chest and wondered what was wrong. She went over to the neighbor's to ask if she could help and was told that Sunny was hit by a car several months ago and was never taken to the vet. The neighbor agreed to surrender her and my volunteer brought her here to the rescue. After x-rays were done it was determined that the nerves in her leg were severed and could not be repaired. Then we determined that she was pregnant so amputation had to wait. Several weeks later she gave birth to a single baby girl who we named Cher. Once the puppy was weaned we had the surgery done and Sunny seemed truly happy not to be dragging that leg along like dead weight. Now it's her turn for a forever home! Won't you please give Sunny a chance!! She is spayed, micro-chipped, heart worm negative, crate trained and up to date on all of her vaccines. Sunny weighs 18 pounds and is approximately 4 years young WE ARE LOCATED IN TENNESSEE SO MEET AND GREET IS NOT AN OPTION! SUNNY IS READY FOR IMMEDIATE TRANSPORT TO YOUR STATE ADOPTION FEE $500

Story
Meet Gino, our Christmas miracle.Gino wandered into a woman's back yard where he proceeded to collapse. He was vomiting and had severe diarrhea. She knew he needed help immediately so she called us to come get him. We brought him to the vet where he was diagnosed with Parvovirus, severe dehydration and severe worm infestation. He had a triple whammie! it was also determined that Gino was deaf. The vet was not optimistic for his survival. Well, Gino had other plans! After 4 days of intravenous fluids and meds, he finally picked up his head and then sat up and wagged his tail. This was Christmas Eve. By Christmas day he was eating and drinking, the best sign of all! He is now a VERY healthy fun loving puppy! The vet estimated him to be 6 or 7 months old. Gino is a Boxer mix, possibly mixed with either Pit or American Bulldog. He is wonderful with children, other dogs and cats. He has been neutered, is up to date on all his vaccines, micro-chipped and crate trained. He is ready willing and able to learn sign language! Please read this entire page so that you understand our location, thank you!! IN ORDER TO ADOPT GINE YOU MUST HAVE A FENCED IN YARD AND ANOTHER DOG HIS SIZE TO PLAY WITH! NO EXCEPTIONS!! ADOPTION FEE $500

Story
Boscoe is a very lucky dog. He's lucky because a friend of ours heard about him and raced to his rescue. She had heard that he was tied up in a back yard and the owner was looking for someone to come and shoot him! Why? Because he had the worst case of Mange that we had ever seen and rather than bother to take him to the vet, the owner chose death.Well it was Boscoe's lucky day when our friend went over, cut him from his chain and rushed him to the vet. It has been a very long healing process and he does have some scarring from the severity of it all but we think he is perfect and very handsome! Boscoe is approximately 2 years young, neutered, micro-chipped, crate trained, house broken, heart worm negative and ready for his forever home! Boscoe loves to play with all the dogs here at the rescue including our pesky Chihuahuas! He is just a joy to have around but as much as we love him he needs a home to call his very own. Could that be you? Before pictures available on request. WE ARE LOCATED IN TENNESSEE SO THERE WILL BE NO MEET AND GREET. WE TRANSPORT TO YOUR STATE. ADOPTION FEE $450

+++++++++++COURTESY POST+++++++++ **Maddox is currently being fostered in HOUSTON, TX. He is available for out-of-state adoption as well to the perfect family. His adoption fee is $495 for non-local adopters, which covers his transport to his new family. He is fully vetted, neutered and microchipped.** Well hello there! I&#39m Maddox and I&#39m pleased to meet you. I must say, I consider myself to be a &#34lucky dog&#34. One day, I&#39m wandering the streets of Houston, without a home, and the next I know, I&#39m in a very nice home, with a lady who promised me that she will find me a forever home. Luck just seems to follow me and I&#39d be happy to bring that luck to your life, too. I&#39m 55 lbs and 2 yrs. old. I&#39m house-trained, getting used to the crate--not my favorite activity, and energetic. I&#39m working on my obedience training and have caught on to a couple commands very quickly. In fact, right now, I&#39m being fostered by a very good professional trainer, so you know I&#39m learning every day. They tell me I&#39m a quick study. I like people. Sometimes I like to take a little time to get to know people, but I&#39m definitely a people-oriented guy. I also like car rides, because that&#39s a bit of an adventure, too. I am good with other dogs, but I do appreciate a proper introduction. If you are looking for a fun, energetic, active dog, who enjoys taking walks, wouldn&#39t mind learning how to be a running partner, and enjoys a little chill time, I just may be your guy! I&#39m fully vetted, neutered, microchipped, and have received a clean bill of health. If you&#39d like to meet me, please contact info@wagsfundrescue.com to set up a meet and greet. Thanks. Maddox is available for adoption thru the WAGS Fund Rescue Group. Please email info@wagsfundrescue.com to set up a meet and greet! +++This pet is being posted as a courtesy to another group or individual. This pet is not part of the Joyrides adoption program. All adoption paperwork will be handled directly with the party listed in the bio.+++

Story
Grayson is ready to find his forever home! This handsome boy was found as a stray and taken to the city pound. Because of his age (he is estimated 8 yrs old), multiple medical issues (large abcess on jaw line, severe skin infections) and heartworms, Grayson was in need of a lifeline - he wasn&#39t going to make it to the Adoption Ward. But Grayson was special. He won over everyone who met him. The shelter volunteers weren&#39t going to lose this gentle giant and reached out the rescue community - with glowing reports! And that&#39s where Joyrides came in! Grayson&#39s foster mom picked him up and it&#39s been a love affair ever since! Here is what she has to say about him: Grayson is truly an angel with fur. He is extremely sweet, so calm and quiet, and just wants to be with people. He does great with all of his k9 foster siblings of all sizes, loves to play, can often be found chewing on an antler and looks forward to his nightly, peanut-butter filled Kong! Grayson is housetrained and crate trained. He has also completed his heartworm treatment. He likes taking walks and does really well on a leash. He also loves to take car rides and is very good in the car. His favorite trick is &#34high five&#34 and he does it any time he wants attention -it&#39s adorable. Grayson has never met a couch he doesn&#39t like and can&#39t wait to find a cuddle buddy who wants to curl up on the couch and binge on Netflix! Because of his size (and the fact that he has no idea how big he is!), Grayson would do best in a home without small dogs or children. He prefers a home with no cats. While he does great with all dogs, he especially loves the ladies and would fit in well with any female k9 companion. He is extremely affectionate, loyal, goofy and smart! He is currently being fostered in Houston, TX. He would come to his new home via professional transport. Email info@joyrides.org to apply to make Grayson a part of your family!
