Story
Milo is a very loving dog who loves lots of attention and snuggles. When I adopted him he had heart worms that I spent a lot of money treating. He no longer has heart worms! He is very protective and has the personality of a Chihuahua. He loves women but is hesitant of men, I believe he was once abused by a man but he may just be fearful of them. He often tries to bite strange men on walks so he need to be kept on a short leash, as well as he often starts fights with male dogs but is well behaved with female dogs. Overall a good dog who listens to simple commands such as sit, stay, paw, jump etc. His best home would be with someone who loves to cuddle and go on walks. Good with children.

Story
This is Capone, we met on the side of the road in Tampa and I took him to the vet and discovered he was last tagged in 2018 in Pinellas county, he is a 6 year old blue pit. He loves being around people and cuddling. I have been trying to find him a home, as he violates my lease and cannot stay with me for long, but I don't want to see him end up at a shelter. He is a very loving dog and would make most any family happy.

Story
Hi! I am Ryder, a purebred yellow lab born on 11/23/2016. My family rescued me at eight months from a coworker, who was going to take me to the pound. They weren't always very nice to me and hit me for various reasons. They also had a little girl that didn't play nice with me. My people are being transferred overseas and it would not be the best situation for me to thrive. I am a bit quirky because of my history. I am wary of strangers and have nipped one person that tried to pet my head when they first came into the house. If I am ignored and allowed to sniff, I am fine. It can take me a while to warm up to people and trust them, although my family has boarded me on occasion without any problems. I love long walks, playing fetch, belly rubs and am a big baby at heart. I probably would be best as the only dog and child in the house. I can warm up to other dogs, but like to play rough. My people will miss me very much but they know this is the best thing for me.

Story
I have recently come into possession of a dog, as her owner is no longer able to care for her. She is a Springer/poodle mix, about 50 pounds. I cannot care for her, and she has some behavioral problems so I am nervous to place her in a traditional shelter. She was beaten in her previous home, so has a lot of fear-aggression, and separation anxiety. She recently growled at a German Shepherd and was bitten in response, so has a cone and a wound on her leg. She is a happy, sweet, incredibly smart dog most of the time, she just is very scared of the world. She's 6 years old and spayed. She does well with cats and other dogs, and would probably do best with a dog that's dominant so she feels safer, but that's not necessary. She know tricks, and will play fetch, and is perfectly potty trained. She really is a good dog. Please let me know if you can help.
