Story
❤️Lady❤️ She is the most adoptable of the 3. She is a 14 yr old Pointer mix, and was pulled from IACS last September just in the nick of time. She was malnourished and had pyometra, so was sent off for an emergency spay. She is wonderful! She doesn’t act like a 14 yr old at all. She likes to play ball and runs like a younger dog after her ball. She does need to be on Proin for the remainder of her life, and she does great on it. No more leaks! Lady really likes her kitty friends, and I often find them sleeping together. She is ok with some other dogs who don’t get in her face or confront her and like their own space, but would enjoy being an only dog with a kitty friend or 2, for sure. She does not like, nor need to be crated. I just had blood work done on her and everything came back normal!😊

Benny does need some work still on his house training but he has came very far and if you continue the process he will have it down pat. He goes to door when has to potty, sometimes you need to make sure he goes tho because he gets easily detracted lol Benny also has some cloudiness in the eyes it is from before we rescued him his hair was so long and in his eyes for so long it rubbed against his eyeball changing the way the eyeball looks to us.

Story
Julius is 4-5 years young, 88 lbs, and UTD on all of his medical, all of which was done this past March. His rabies vaccine is good for 2.5 more years. He is heartworm negative and currently on preventative. He is neutered and microchipped. He is a big teddy bear with people, but must be the only dog in his next and hopefully final home. He is really laid back and doesn’t like to be outside in his fosters back yard very long by himself. He really would enjoy a dog friendly kitty or 2 in his next home, but it isn’t a must. He is really good with them. He absolutely MUST have a 6’ privacy fenced yard with no escape routes, and this will be checked with a home visit. He is especially reactive to dogs being walked near his home. He is not reactive on the leash on walks to other dogs in the distance, though. Julius also goes by Juli, JuJu Bear, and a few other nick names. We just LOVE this big lug! If you are interested in giving this boy a home, even a trial home, please email Rutsrescue@gmail.com
