Story
Jasper is currently fostered in Mentor Ohio, and his adoption fee/donation is $250 Jasper has Cardiomyopathy with regurgitation and is on meds for it. He is also on medication for seizures and he is having none. He also has a grade 4 heart mur mur and is scheduled to see a cardiologist again mid November We will know more about his condition once he has this visit Jasper is a 2 yr old male cocker spaniel that came to us from a puppymill. Jasper is a super sweet boy, loving and affectionate, but also somewhat timid. He is getting used to life outside of a puppymill, but it will take him a bit to adjust to being a pet in a home setting. He is currently on medication and doing well, acts like a puppy and plays without symptoms. Housetraining is in process, but that too can take time with mill dogs. Applications will be accepted and reviewed in the mean time. Jasper is neutered and up to date on vaccines, as well as heartworm negative. Story
Tessi is currently fostered in Euclid Ohio, and her adoption fee/donation is $150 Tessi is an approximately 2-3 yr old beagle mix, that came into our rescue from a shelter in southern Ohio. She is an honorary cocker, and is the size of one, she weighs only 25 lbs, and is small for her breed. Tessi was very unsocial when coming into rescue, she was picked up as a stray originally, and was very much a feral dog. It took some time to bring her around, however she is becoming more and more social all the time. She will still spook easily from loud and/or sudden movements. Tessi will need a fenced in yard where she can run and play, she acts very much like a puppy in many ways. She will chew and destroy stuffed toys, as well as shoes and pillows if she is left alone without being crated. We are still working on her housetraining skills, but she is doing well for the most part. Tessi loves to run and play with other dogs, she definitely needs at least one other dog in her adoptive home, we don’t think she will do well as an only dog. This active and playful girl needs an owner willing to continue to work with her on social skills, and basic obedience. Tessi is spayed, up to date on vaccines and heartworm negative. If you would like to adopt Tessi or would like more information on her, please fill out an adoption application We do not have a shelter, all rescues are in foster homes - Dogs are not shown without first being approved to adopt. Story
Tatianna is currently being fostered in the Hamilton Ohio area. Her adoption fee is minimal to an approved home. Tatianna is a 10yr old female cocker spaniel with vision loss due to cataracts. She gets around fine and appears to see well enough to avoid bumping into things. She came to our rescue from a shelter in Ohio where she was facing euthanasia. She and another cocker, (Cherokee) were surrendered to this shelter together because their owner was unable to care for them. They need to be adopted together as they depend on each other. Below is a note from her foster... Tatianna....she is a sweet girl, and would love a human of her own to snuggle with. Tatiana likes everything except cats. She does very well around other dogs. She’s potty trained, she likes her crate she loves to be outside and loves walks. Both dogs also do well in the car. I cannot say anything negative about Tatiana at all. She can be very energetic when you first meet her but she quickly calms down. She has a lot of spunk for her age. Tatianna is spayed, had a dental and is up to date on vaccines. If you would like to adopt Tatianna or would like more information on her, please fill out an adoption application We do not have a shelter, all rescues are in foster homes - Dogs are not shown without first being approved to adopt.
