Story

Matrix was rescued by our son. They both shared our house for over 2 years, until our son had to travel to another state for work. Matrix is friendly with family, including our cat. He is wary of strangers, and, being a Cane Corso mix, is protective of our home. We would love to see him go to an owner who has the experience and time to care for him. He is a big dog and needs a confident owner.

Story

My son brought Matrix home as a rescue, almost 1 year old. Matrix is now 3 years old, but his owner, my son, had to move out of state for his job and could not take Matrix with him. We have two young grandchildren at home. Matrix has not been aggressive with them, but he is an alpha type dog and needs to be firmly controlled. I normally take care of him and I have to work hard to control him on the leash if there are other dogs or people in the neighborhood. He pays attention to me but to no-one else. He is not agressive with our granddkids (9 and 10 years old) but the are careful with him - they know enough not to mess with his food or try and take anything out of his mouth. We would love to find him a strong owner who has time to spend with him.

Story

Max is around 8-9 years old, a corgi/terrier and possibly pit mix. He is up to date on all vaccinations. Max is a fun dog who needs more exercise and physical stimulation than we can give with our schedules. He is very smart and LOVES to be around other dogs. He can get overexcited and a bit protective of his toys but we have been told that's because he just needs more exercise and attention. He likes to run around the house with a ton of energy. He could use a family that can spend much more time with him. Our living arrangements will also be changing within the year and will probably not allow us to keep Max in the way he needs. Max is crate trained and loves to cuddle on the couch in the evenings. We will be very careful about who gets to live with him.

MEET BOONE! Boone is a very handsome 11 month old hound mix. He weighs about 35 lbs. He is neutered and current with vaccinations. He comes all the way from Kentucky! He is an exceptionally sweet boy. He is currently working on manners with his foster Dad and he is doing great! He can play rough and sometimes shows food aggression when he feels threatened by other dogs- so this needs to be worked through with him. He is not completely housebroken. According to his foster Dad, Boone acts like a total puppy. He plays like a puppy, and is just a big pup who needs to learn the ropes. He will counter-surf if allowed. He knows basic commands (sit, down, paw). He is really doing so fabulous in his foster home and he is very adored! A little training investment in this great young dog now, will reap a huge pay-off, and he will be a most amazing pet for many, many years!
