Story
Lou is my best friend. I’ve had other dogs, but never had to rehome until now. With the right home, Lou is one of the sweetest and most loyal dogs you will find. Lou is a great indoor dog and has NEVER had an accident in the house. He would enjoy your company, but in emergencies can stay alone for long periods of time with no issues. He is a watch dog and a constant, empathetic companion. His love is deep and when you’re alone with him, he’ll show even more. Lots of personality and sweetness. He loves ladies and he told me that if I must rehome him, then I must find a very sweet lady that needs a companion and someone to watch over her.

Story
Cassie is a 65 pound, 2-yr-old female shepherd mix who is looking for a new active home. She loves people and knows how to sit, shake and stay (for short periods), is good on a leash (till she sees a squirrel) and rides wonderfully in a car.. She will crate but prefers to be out with her people and needs some training to curb her enthusiastic jumping on people. At her size and weight she can easily knock over a child and many adults. Cassie also gets along with other dogs and cats. She has experience playing with large dogs like her but can be a little rough with small dogs. With cats, Cassie is mostly curious and will follow a walking act or chase a running cat. She is a very smart dog, she knows cats have all their weapons on the front end. Cassie's ideal home contains would include another super active, like size and age dog who likes to run and play in a large fenced yard/area. She loves people and is house trained (as far as we can tell) and so we are NOT looking to place her in a home where she is an outside dog - she craves attention too much. She is well mannered in the house, but "play time" should be reserved for when she is outside because of her size. She would also do well with a jogger or someone who would take her for lots of long walks - she is mostly calm on a leash and greets other dogs and people with dignity. Cassie is spayed, micro chipped, UTD on her vaccines and heartworm negative. She was left behind when her home was purchased and her previous owners went to locations that didn't allow dogs. If you are interested in Cassie, or have any questions about her, please contact PAWS-OK at pawsokrescue@gmail.com or text to (405) 204-3964. We currently do not have a dog application on line but will be happy to send you a form via e-mail.

Story
I rescued Benny almost a month ago from the shelter. He was extremely skinny and was so sweet. He is a massive cuddler. He thinks he is a lap dog. He was rescued off the street but is potty trained and knows sit and lay. He loves to play with other dogs and is great with my 2 year old grandbaby. Unfortunately I have 2 cats and he is 100% not ok with cats. Whoever chooses him must not have kitty's. He just wants to be loved.

Story
We bought Lacey almost 2 years ago. She was born 6/2/2017, she has routine and regular visits to the vet to ensure she is up to date on heart worm, has no fleas, and is up to date on shots. She is in sound health other than having a bit of allergy problems, but then again who doesn't in Oklahoma? Lacey does have some behavior problems that we have not been able to resolve, due to working so very much and having 4 children, it's been tough to manage. She is protective and barks a lot when you have someone come over, once she has been introduced she is fine. She doesn't play well with kids, she is not aggressive with them, just plays to rough. She needs a home with fencing so she can RUN! She chases cats, and she does do well with other dogs with proper introduction. She is such a very lovable and sweet girl, we are wanting to rehome because she is just to rough with our kids as well as running off the leash and terrorizing neighbors chickens, dogs, and kids by chasing and barking @ them
