Hi, I'm Mason!Do you like other dogs? I will probably do best as the only dog in the home, but I may do okay with a dog that matches my intense energy. What do you think about cats? I will likely be way too much for cats. So how do you feel about kids? I am very intense and will likely do best with teenagers or an adult only home. What's your ideal home like? A mature home with someone who will be my companion and take me on adventures where I can get all my energy out. I need a lot of leash training work and it would be great if someone would have patience with me and help me learn. What is it that staff and volunteers love about you? I love to tell you about all of my feelings! Is there anything else we should know about you? I am 4 years old and I weigh between 70 and 80lbs. I have a medical waiver that staff will discuss with you when you come to meet me. I came into the shelter as a stray and the above information is all recommendations based on my behavior seen at the shelter. I have no known history and it is very likely that I have not shown staff 100% of my personality. Expect to learn more about me after adoption. It is unknown how this animal will do in their new home as all animals can be different with each person. It is important to take this into consideration when thinking about adopting and making sure you are prepared to work with any potential medical or behavior issues that occur after adoption. My adoption fee includes my spay/neuter, current vaccinations, permanent microchip identification, certificate for a free veterinary exam, post-adoption support and more!Thank you for taking the time to learn a little about me! If you think we would be a good match come on down and ask to meet me! I'm looking for my forever home and it could be with you!ADOPTION INFORMATION: If you live in the city of Eugene or in Lane County you will be purchasing a dog license in addition to the adoption fee. You will get to choose between a one year, two year, or three year license. This pet is located at Greenhill Humane Society. 88530 Greenhill Road Eugene, OR 97402 (541) 689-1503. What is it that staff and volunteers love about you? I can be nervous at first, but once I warm up I am very sweet!** Here is what a volunteer said about me and my friend, Duke:"They are sweet dogs. A little nervous at first, but once they know you, very easy to walk. Will definitely follow you anywhere once trained." **Is there anything else we should know about you? Story
Hi, I'm Bailey!Do you like other dogs? I have not been doing well with other dogs and need to be in the only dog in the home at this time. What do you think about cats? I should not live with cats.So how do you feel about kids? I don't have a history with kids but am very sweet to the adults I've met so it is expected I will do well with dog savvy children. What's your ideal home like? I'm an active dog and would like a home where I can get lots of love and exercise. I can be nervous of new things at first but am very brave and warm up nicely after a few minutes. What is it that staff and volunteers love about you? I have very good house manners and am just the nicest girl you could ever meet! I'm also a volunteer favorite and here's what they had to say about me:"She's a sweetie. Loves butt scritches a lot. When she's being petted she rubs up on your legs.""Once you get past her barking and anxious energy, Bailey is the sweetest girl. She'll just lay with her head on your lap, lets out a big sigh and falls asleep. She will also roll over and let you rub her belly and give you the occasional kiss. Such a lover if you put in the time!" **Is there anything else we should know about you? I'm about 5 years old and weigh between 60-70 bounds. I do have a medical waiver that talks about a few lumps and my teeth. It's nothing crazy, just some typical stuff that happens as you get older as a dog. Staff will tell you all about it when you come to see me. My adoption fee has be sponsored and is now $125!I came into the shelter as a surrender and the above information is all recommendations based on my previous history and the behavior seen at the shelter. Expect to learn more about me after adoption. It is unknown how this animal will do in their new home as all animals can be different with each person. Darrow was found on 4/3/2020 at the 4400 block of Sean St. He came into the shelter not yet neutered. If you believe this is your missing dog, please contact the shelter at (541) 689-1503. Since this dog is new to the shelter and we are still looking for their family, they are not viewable on the adoption floor at this time. The shelter staff is giving me some time to settle in and adjust to this new place. As we get to know each other a little better, the behavior team and veterinary staff will then be evaluating my needs. Please stay tuned for my updated information! Our shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs can be unreliable and for most dogs we are only guessing at their primary breed. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not breed label. This pet is located at Greenhill Humane Society. 88530 Greenhill Road, Eugene, OR 97402 (541) 689-1503. Story
Hi, I'm Thai! * I am a hidden gem and am not viewable on the adoption floor. Ask staff to meet me!*Do you like other dogs? I have been uncertain of how to react to other dogs. I would be happiest as the only dog in the home at this time until I can get positive training and careful socialization with dogs. What do you think about cats? I have no history with cats, and it is not recommended that I go home with cats at this time.So how do you feel about kids? I would prefer an adult only home. What's your ideal home like? I would like to go to a quiet home with a family who will help me build confidence, and give me the time and space to settle in an warm up. I am extremely fearful of new things and people and will need a safe space to settle in and open up.What is it that staff and volunteers love about you? Staff love how sweet I can be once I am comfortable. I'm so happy to see my people, and I give excellent smooches. Is there anything else we should know about you? I am about 1 year old and I weigh between 50 and 60 pounds. I have a behavior waiver that staff will be happy to discuss with you when you come to meet me. You will need to meet me multiple times before I will be comfortable enough to go home with you.I came into the shelter as a stray and the above information is all recommendations based on my behavior seen at the shelter. I have no known. Expect to learn more about me after adoption. It is unknown how this animal will do in their new home as all animals can be different with each person.
