Story
Need a new home for this very loving dog. Unable to take him with us on our move. He is four years old and was adopted from the human society at one years old. He needs someone who is able to spend a lot of time with him and gives clear instructions. He does like long walks and time outside, but is just as happy snuggling on the sofa. When not at home it is best to crate him, for he cannot always be trusted not to chew something up. Loves being with people.

Story
Mr. Jethro found his way into our lives in September of 2018 during hurricane season in South Carolina. My boyfriend had found him wandering the streets during a thunder storm and knew he had to save him. Through efforts we attempted to locate his owners or anyone who knew him, but to no avail. He remained with us through a difficult time, and provided friendship to our two dogs Soonee and Chip, and even our cat Patton. But, in August of this year my boyfriend and I experienced our first miscarriage due to a tubal pregnancy and has hit us hard. My boyfriend works long distance for weeks at a time, and I’m finding it difficult to care for three dogs and a cat. Our golden retriever is my seizure alert dog, and a necessity. I hate to break up their pack, but for the benefit of my health and his happiness; I’d like to help find him a fur-ever home. He loves to cuddle, eat snacks, play, and zoom around the back yard chasing birds. He loves his toys and bonds quickly.
