Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hi, I'm Tasha. Last Christmas, I was in what I thought was my forever home. I had had a rough life, I was kept outside and my owners didn't care much about me, so I got heartworms ...my rescue got me from Aiken County shelter and treated my heartworms, then I had a back problem from the treatment but that finally got well, and I was adopted, but that lady had to return me when her job changed. I came back to my rescue and had a really nice foster and then was adopted again by a lady and her son, and I was SO happy, I had a warm bed and lots of toys and no other dogs or cats to bother me. The lady's son was my best buddy , I slept with him and he played with me every day. I love to dress up and wear sweaters and fluffy collars. I had a great Christmas last year... but then my best buddy went back to live with his father, and my mom decided she didn't want me any more so I came back to my rescue.  Everyone is nice to me here, but there are a lot of other dogs and I don't much like other dogs and it's nothing like being in a real home, I know cause I've had 2 of them.  I am older now, about 6, and no one seems to want me. I also have to be the 'only dog', my rescue can't even take me to adoption events because I get too upset around strange dogs, so no one ever gets to see how pretty I am unless they put in what's called an application and come to see me. I love people, and children, I am nice and quiet, I'm what's called an 'inside dog' (I get allergies outside). Is there any hope for me, can I have a 3rd chance? I know some dogs don't even get a 2d chance, but,  Is there ANY chance I can have a new home for THIS Christmas? If you have it in your heart to give me that 3rd chance please contact my rescue at shelteranimalsadvocates.org or call my rescue lady Mary Lou at 803-334-1219. I promise I will love you forever. Tasha's adoption fee is $150 (which includes all vetting  plus 1 month heartworm prevention and flea tick prevention and a bag of the food she is currently on)   Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. My name is Blade ...and I'm a good dog. I love people and children, I don't like cats much though. I've been at my rescue awhile now, before that I lived outside in a yard and then my owner left me at the pound. I was really skinny then but I've been eating good and am ready for a new home that will let me live inside because I really love snoozing on the couch. I will be your best friend forever.  Blade is a sweet young bully girl,  calm and gentle,  beautiful gray brindle coat,  up to date on vaccinations, dewormed,  She is a strong girl and can pull on leash (harness recommended) and we recommend a fenced yard.  She is very friendly with people and most dogs (does not like hyper obnoxious dogs)  NO CATS, loves kids, is very gentle, and has a lovely melodious warble when she wants your attention, as well as beautiful golden eyes. Adoption fee is $150 (which includes all vetting plus 1 month heartworm prevention and flea tick prevention, martingale collar, and a bag of the food she is currently on) and she is available for adoption via Shelter Animals Advocates. www.shelteranimalsadvocates.orgVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Ellie was adopted from our rescue 5 years ago and returned because of a voluntary lifestyle change by owner. She is now 9 years old. She walks well on leash, has beautiful manners, is great with children, very gentle, very loving  (the pictures of her with children are from her prior home) She is non reactive to other leashed dogs in public, but cannot live with other dogs (or cats). She needs a quiet home with no loud noises. She does not require much exercise but loves her outdoor time. She will however dig out of a fenced yard.   She does not like to be crated or left alone, she gets anxious. She comes with her harness, collar and leash, one month heartworm-flea tick preventive and a bag of the food currently on. Adoption fee $75 as she is a  senior.  She is a really lovely dog and deserves a retirement home.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.

Story
We have had trigger for over 3 years now, but we moved to a new neighborhood and do not have a fence (he is kept indoors). My kids have accidentally let him out a few times and he runs to the neighbors yard. They have called the police 2 times, a d we just cant risk a third. We love him and hate to see him go, but we just cant keep him any longer. He is very friendly and super playful. We have 2 cats and 3 children (10, 6, and 3) the 3 years old was just an infant when we brought trigger home, so he is kind to all children. He doesn't show any aggression and has never tried to harm anyone. He will make a great addition to any family.

Story
We took Slater in when my sister abandoned him on the streets. We wanted to make sure he was taken care of. He is really good with my 16 , 17, and 14 year old. The reason we need to rehome Slater is because I also have a 7 and 3 year old whom Slater plays too rough with. They have been hurt on several occasions from Slater trying to play with them. Slater has been well taken care of and is extremely friendly. He does still pee in the house from time to time, but his accidents are few and far between. He has been fixed and has a microchip as well as his shots. He will come with a crate, food and water bowl, collar, leash, harness, and any other supplies we have at the time of rehoming. I was told that his breed is black lab and boxer mix. He loves to jump on the trampoline and play tug of war. He's a little high energy.

Always ready for fun and games, friendly and cheerful and has an adorable underbite.  Gets along with dogs and kids. He is doing great in a foster home with an older female bully and a young child. He loves to give kisses.  Ollie enjoys long walks (would be a great jogging companion).  Ollie loves to sit for treats and is currently working on downs. Ollie loves to play with Roxy his doggie foster sister but he also enjoys cuddling up with her.  Ollie is a great car rider!
