Story
Randi is a 1 yr old 64.5 lb spayed female catahoula/lab. She’s fun, well mannered and loves everyone. Randi lives with school aged kids and dogs in foster and does well. She hasn’t had much exposure to cats, so that would be a training process for her to live with them. Randi seems housetrained, uses a crate successfully, is used to a leash and loves to play chase with other dogs in a fenced yard. Randi is young so a training class would be awesome to reinforce her training, and an active person who loves to be outside would be her perfect match! She’s a couch potato inside, but loves to be on the move outside. Perfect dog! Fostered in Hyde Park, VT.Please include an application from our website https://www.goodkarmarescue.com/ with inquires.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.

My name is Gus! I’m a sweet boy who found himself left in the shelter. Since coming to VT I have learned about the good dog life and am hoping I can find my forever family! I am a loving couch potato and I’m a pretty low key guy! My favorite thing to do is snuggle! If you’re looking for a low key guy look no further!!

Roman! this senior boy is the sweetness. We aren’t exactly sure how or why this guy ended up at the shelter but He did. Roman would love a couch to lounge on for the rest of his days! He is good with other dogs and kids, cats are unknown. Roman has a fairly low-key personality but wants all the love and attention.

Story
We are obsessed with this house hippo! Hope is one of the most misunderstood dogs we've taken into rescue. She is riddled with scars and signs that she had been forced to breed. When Animal Control in SC picked her up, she had a fresh gunshot wound to her face and was just defeated. Another rescue stepped up for her, and then promptly returned her. Once we heard about that, we made it clear that she still had rescue with us - once a dog has rescue, they should always have rescue. We didn't understand why, other than it was reported that she wasn't good with other animals, but so what? Some dogs just need to be the only dog and we were willing to take her on regardless. Come to find out, She is not so great with smaller animals, especially cats, however. Hope is excellent with kids and every human she encounters. Her VT foster mom says she's the best co-pilot and enjoys going to places in the community where she can get all of the attention. She loves tennis balls and antlers, and is quickly learning that snuggling is pretty fantastic too! Hope is a strong dog, short and stout, but solid, so she will need a strong handler that will be able to respect her likes/dislikes, and protect her from setting her up to fail. If we could have another pack member at K.C. Bully HQ, Hope would be it. Don't miss out on this beautiful gal!
