Hello, I'm Cooper! My brother Gunnar and I were brought to the Blue Mountain Humane Society after we were found wandering around Down Town Walla Walla! We are both pretty shy and will need lots of love and patience for us to feel comfortable around new people. We also don't seem to understand the concept of a leash, but we are learning our manners quick! Once we feel comfortable around you, we are really the sweetest boys. Hello, I'm Onyx! I'm a wonderful boy staying at the Blue Mountain Humane Society searching for a place to call home. I came to the shelter as a stray so the BMHS staff is still learning more and more about me everyday! I can be a little shy towards people I'm unfamiliar with but once I've warmed up to you I'm the sweetest pup! I walk politely on leash, I've already got the hang of "sit", and I love car rides! If you're interested in meeting me, fill out an application through the Blue Mountain Humane Society website and come and meet me! I can be a bit picky with which dogs I like to hang out with, so if you have other dogs at home we highly recommend brining them with so we can make sure we get along! I'm so excited to meet you!

The people taking care of me in the meantime don't know too much about me or my past, but one thing they do know is that I am the most adorable love bug there is. I was abandoned at the shelter in the pouring rain, and they found me all wet and shivering. Now, I await someone like you to come and take me home! Maybe even cozied up by a warm fireplace. I know some basic commands, and I'm super smart and willing to learn more. Hello, my name is Chunky! I'm one smart boy here at the Blue Mountain Humane Society in Walla Walla. I will need a very special family to take me in. I can be timid around new people, I'm very head shy, and my body language can sometimes be a bit confusing. I would need to go to a home with no kids, but would thrive in a home where there's someone who is willing to work with me and the training I need. One thing about me, I'm VERY treat motivated! If you have any kind of tasty snack for me, I'll pick up new tricks in no time! I even learned 'place' in just about 5 minutes since I've been here. I love a good game of fetch and I also seem to get along with other dogs! The shelter does recommend a supervised dog meet here though, if you do have another four legged friend. Hello, I'm Reyna! I'm an excitable pup currently learning some basic training at WAP! I'm in search of my fur-ever home. When I arrived to the shelter, I was very scared and defensive but as I've gotten to know everyone, I've opened up a lot! I'm a big sweetheart and I'm still young so I still have a lot of energy and I'm definitely benefiting from some basic training! I do o-k on a leash but can be pretty jumpy and may be a little reactive towards other dogs on walks. I'm sure once I learn some more, I'll be the best buddy you'll know!
