Story
My name is Tyson and I am a male, 4 year old “Chow-Rottie” mix. I have a very strong “Chow” personality in that I am very dedicated to my “leader of my pack”. I am a well trained dog and I walk great on a leash. I am very lovable and affectionate and I love to play (although I can be a little mouthy when I play). It can only be assumed that I had a troubled past because of my absolute fear of hand and sudden movement. If I feel threatened in any way by a stranger, I will bite. I guess you could say that I suffer from “PTSD” i.e. Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome. I need a family who has a quiet lifestyle and yet will devote time to take me on long walks. If you are interested in meeting me, please contact my foster mom, Marie, at spooky1354@comcast.net

Story
Molly absolutely loves her people and most dogs! She would love a quite home with a yard because Molly has extremely high anxiety whenever she is outside of her comfort zone, which is basically her foster's house, yard, and car. She can't even go for a walk without constantly looking around and barking when she's nervous. Despite her high anxiety level, she's wonderful with people and she is an awesome dog! She very happy lives with several dogs, and likes to play with them! She also tries to play with the pig! Molly is so happy when she's here and she such a goofball, but the minute she gets outside her comfort zone she is a totally different animal...she also is extremely fear reactive with dogs until she gets to know them and knows that she is safe, so does need slow introductions to new dogs.Molly may have her quirks, but she has the potential to be such an amazing family member, are you the one she's been waiting for?!Age: 5 yearsWeight: 55 lbsPlease Note: All dogs are posted until they are officially adopted. Story
Good with dogs: Yes, with proper introsGood with cats: UnknownGood with kids: UnknownCrate trained: MostlyHouse trained: MostlyFrankenstein is a super sweet, submissive, eager to please, and fun-loving puppy. He is a fast learner and enjoys building a bond with his humans once he warms up. He will make an excellent hiking partner and would enjoy an active family to help him become more confident with the big world around him. He is nervous and timid at first with new people and takes a little longer to warm up to men and would also do best in a home with older kids. Frank only barks in the crate when he needs to potty and while he hasn’t had any accidents in his foster homes, he does get a little overexcited to go outside first thing in the morning and might leak a little but he’s getting better every day. Frank is excellent at entertaining himself with a jolly ball in the yard but loves it when his humans play with him too. He has been able to be socially appropriate with other dogs but may need reminders to calm down when he gets too excited. With other dogs, Frankenstein is still working on sharing his toys and having manners.  He would love to find a family who can guide him with socializing with other dogs, especially if there is another dog in the home. Please Note: All dogs are posted until they are officially adopted. Story
Good with dogs: Yes, with proper introsGood with cats: YesGood with kids: UnknownCrate trained: NoHouse trained: MostlyMoose is the cutest little/big guy out there. He is definitely a one person type dog. He would not thrive in a family type setting. He needs a calm home with another dog who he can play and get his energy out with. He loves big and small dogs and will definitely initiate play especially if there is a squeaker in his toy. He would do best with someone who lives in a single family home where barking will not be an issue, and with someone who works from home. He is painfully shy of people but especially men, so sorry men this is probably a ladies only pup. He also cannot be crated at night and would do best with someone who is ok with letting him sleep in their bed, and will let him cuddle them all night long. If you have a bed next to yours he will only jump up into your bed and burrow underneath your covers.Age: 6 months Weight: 5 lbs.Please Note: All dogs are posted until they are officially adopted. Story
Good with dogs: Yes, with proper introsGood with cats: UnknownGood with kids: Older children only (16+)Crate trained: NoHouse trained: YesBoston is a very friendly, very loving dog. He is fully house trained but needs work with crate training and has a significant amount of stress being left in a crate. He would love to find an active home where his family is home more often than not. He sits nicely to have his leash put on but pulls quite a bit while walking. He corrects easily for the pulling but could use some help becoming a more polite walker. He pulls harder when he sees dogs or people but doesn't bark. It seems to be curiosity more than anything else. He plays too hard for very young children so would do best around older ones (aged 16+). Boston needs proper introductions to other dogs, but does well afterwards. He can be overstimulated, so may not be a candidate for doggie day care and would do best getting his exercise in other ways. Boston is a dog that is very easy to love. He is strong and needs an experienced and loving, firm hand to continue his training. He deserves a great home and will be a great companion for both walking/hiking and snuggling. Please Note: All dogs are posted until they are officially adopted.
