Story
We have had our dog for 8 loving years. We have been unable to maintain her lifestyle similarly after relocating to an apartment after being in a house with a yard. She is seeking stimulation, exercise, and continued socialization that we are unable to provide due to space and budgets. She is becoming home-bound and more territorial as result. We do not want her to be isolated and territorial. She was not this kind of dog and we only want the best environment for her. She has never bitten anyone, however, like a true collie, she can be possessive of her owner and family if strangers come near. With very active walks, play and continued socialization, she can be a happy, healthy dog that makes some family very happy. Only those with dog experience, time to play, socialize her, exercise her and have a yard should consider adopting this very loyal, healthy wonderful dog. We will miss her but we do not want her isolation to lead to negative behavior and wish to keep her happy and safe.

Story
Eddie is an amazing pit mix. He is so sweet, and loves to cuddle and play tug. Unfortunately, we have to move, and the new apartment we are moving into does not allow dogs. Eddie does require an owner with experience with pits or other large dogs, as he sometimes jumps and needs practice with meeting new people. He is about 4 years old, although we are not sure. He was rescued in Baltimore, and his front left paw is malformed and much smaller than his other paws, giving him a slight limp. He is good around other big dogs, including old dogs. He is also good around our cat: they play and run around together, and the cat loves to head bump him while he sleeps. He is a big softie, he just needs a home with some space to run around that has experience with similar dogs.

Story
Duke4 Years OldChihuahua MixDuke is a sweet, leggy boy looking for a new home where he can be around his people all the time! He can be a shy guy at first, but will be the ruler of your house in no time. Once he settles in he loves to be in your lap and uses the long legs to do zoomies! He is a nice mix of snuggly and energetic, but does not like to be left alone. He will do best in a home where someone is always home or where there aren`t close neighbors to hear his complaints. He can take a little time to make friends, but he has lived with other small dogs before and could likely do well with other dogs friends again. Interested in meeting Duke? Come to our Boston location today! If you think you are a good fit and would like to learn more, please click on the blue Inquire button above, fill out the form, and stop by our Boston Adoption Center. Story
Nicky8 Months OldSpayed FemaleNicky is the sweetest, silliest little pup who is ready to find a home of her own! She came to us from a southern shelter so we don’t know much about her history, but she has been through quite a few transitions in a short time and is looking for a family who can help her explore the world at her own pace! Nicky is still getting used to the sights and sounds of the big city, and could do well with a role model helper dog to show her the ropes, as well as older children who can practice some shy dog skills and help participate in her training!
