Story
Charlotte is a wonderfully playful young girl. She is enthusiastic and enjoys meeting other dogs. Charlotte easily makes friends with the people she meets. She is looking for someone that can teach her to play fetch. Charlotte loves toys and loves to play, but if you don't have a toy she will play with your hands. We try not to encourage that here at the shelter. Charlotte is a fast learner and since all she wants is for you to play with her, she catches on quickly putting the toy in her mouth rather than your hands. If you are viewing this dog's profile on Adopt-a-Pet and are interested in adopting, please head to our official website at www.worcesterarl.org to fill out a Dog Adoption Inquiry Form, which will be located under the dog's profile.

Story
Dennis is a lovely playful boy. He is looking for a home with active people who enjoys long walks or hikes in the woods and some downtime on the couch. Dennis would love a quieter home as an only dog, and if there are kids in the home they should be teens and up. Dennis is shy with new people, and does not like to petted immediately by people he does not consider family. Dennis will sit for a treat, loves to go for walks, is housetrained and is a relatively quiet boy. If you are viewing this dog's profile on Adopt-a-Pet and are interested in adopting, please head to our official website at www.worcesterarl.org to fill out a Dog Adoption Inquiry Form, which will be located under the dog's profile. That is the first step. All adoptions are by appointment, thank you!

Story
This handsome, senior gentleman is Valentine! Valentine is a special guy as he is mostly blind and partially deaf. Once Valentine is comfortable, he loves to sit on his person's feet, and be cuddled, so he is definitely a dog that will be underfoot. Valentine really just loves companionship and touch. He can be a little protective meeting new people. He weighs about 8 lbs. and has his own voice! He will bark to see where his people are, and to let them know he would like their company. Valentine is about 12 years old and is looking for a home that will enjoy his need to cuddle, and he would like that home to be without other dogs. Valentine might be able to live with cats who stay away from his food! Valentine could live with older teens who can understand that he needs to be gently handled. If you are interested in meeting Valentine, please head to our website worcesterarl.org and click on his photo to fill out a Dog Adoption Inquiry. That is the first step! All meets are by appointment, thank you!

Story
Gorgeous, big boy Zeus is looking for a new home to call his own! Zeus was born at WARL to a German Shepherd mom who arrived at the shelter pregnant. Zeus was adopted to a family as a little pup, and that family had some major changes which leaves Zeus looking for a fresh start through no fault of his own. Zeus has lived with teens, and has played with other dogs. He is particular about which dogs he can play with, and although he has had fun at dog parks when young, some dogs do not appreciate his play style. Zeus is very strong! He is looking for an active family who can appreciate a big boy with a big bark. He is super smart, and really just wants to be involved with people. Zeus will do best with a family who has experience with exuberant, strong, active dogs, and are capable of handling a pup who still could use some work on leash manners. Zeus has no history of living with cats. If you are interested in meeting and possibly adopting Zeus please head to our website worcesterarl.org and click on his picture. Please fill out the Dog Adoption Inquiry listed below his picture to request a meet with Zeus. All adoptions are by appointment, thank you!
