Story
Hi there, my name is Blue, but I don't feel blue at all! I'm living with my amazing foster and her kitty which is great! I'm an extroverted kinda boy and I want to make friends with everyone I meet. I would love to be the only dog in your home so I can be the center of attention! The best way to my heart is to throw me a tennis ball or tug at a rope toy with me. I have some food allergies that will require a special diet for the rest of my life. Call an Animal Resource Counselor today to learn some more about, I'm really looking forward to be friends!

Story
If you would like an application for Darcy please send us an email to godogsgorescue@gmail.com or visit our website at www.godogsgorescue.org. We reply to ALL enquiries so please check your junk mail box if waiting to hear. Darcy is an older girl and has been with our sister rescue waiting for her people to find her! She is playful, LOVES her tennis ball and makes the funniest faces, but she appreciates just lounging around too. Darcy would prefer to be an only child, she longs to have all the attention to herself, as she has been looking for her forever home for such a long time! She is fully vetted, spayed, HW negative and ready to come home! Could you be the one she’s been waiting for? Please give this girl a chance!

Story
To adopt please fill out an adoption application. Guy is a 5yo male German Shepherd mix dog who was rescued as a stray in Memphis.  Calm, mellow, low maintenance. Friendly, well-socialized, loving, loyal, typical GSD temperament. Loves other dogs and would love a canine buddy in his new home. Not recommended for cats because he likes to chase them. Recommended for children 6 years and older. Medium energy level outside, quiet and well-mannered in the house.  Crate trained and housebroken. Obeys basic commands.  Loves to be with his people.  Good on a leash, rides great in the car.  When he first came to us, Guy had heart-worms, but he was treated without complications and cured and is now ready for adoption. Healthy and fully vetted, current on shots, neutered, weighs about 50 pounds.  AWESOME GSD mix will make a wonderful companion (and jogging partner)  for an active family who loves the breed. Story
To adopt please fill out an adoption application. Rosie is an 18 month old female Doberman pinscher mix who was rescued as a stray in Memphis. Sweet, well-socialized, friendly, loyal, typical shepherd temperament. Very intelligent. Great with other dogs and would welcome a dog buddy in her new home. Not recommended for cats because she likes to chase them. Recommended for older kids because Rosie feels a little nervous with young children. Medium-high energy level outside, quiet and well-mannered in the house. Crate trained and housebroken. Obeys basic commands. Loves to be with her people. When she first came to us, Rosie had heart-worms but she was treated and cured and is now ready for adoption. Healthy and fully vetted, current on shots, spayed, weighs about 55 pounds. AWESOME young shepherd mix will make a wonderful companion (and jogging partner!) for an active family who loves the breed. Here's a note from Rosie's mom... 'We rescued Rosie last December when we found her wandering as a stray in Memphis. She was so sweet and well-behaved that we decided to keep her, but in recent months we've come to realize Rosie would be much happier in a quieter, calmer household. Our 3 young children are well-behaved but they're YOUNG and a bit much for Rosie. When the kids are at school, she's so calm but when they get home she really starts feeling nervous. We want the best life possible for Rosie and I know she would thrive in a quiet, calm household.' Story
To adopt please fill out an adoption application. Rylie is deaf.   Rylie is a small 3yo female german shepherd mix who is being surrendered by her family in Memphis. Sweet, friendly, well-socialized, affectionate. Loves other dogs and is very active and playful with other dogs. Not cat tested. Loves kids and is very gentle with the family's 1 year old daughter.  Crate trained and housebroken. Very active outside, settles down in the house. Not obedience trained and does not know hand signal commands, but  Rylie is very smart and would learn quickly.  Loves to be with her people.  Good on a leash, rides great in the car.  Estimated DOB April 2017. Healthy and fully vetted, current on shots, spayed, weighs about 40 pounds.  AWESOME young GSD mix will make a wonderful companion (and jogging partner!) for an active family who has experience with hearing deficit dogs. Here's a note from  Rylie's 'dad:'  We rescued  Rylie from a construction site when she was just a puppy and she is a beloved family pet. She's a sweet dog, very playful and does well with other animals. The reason we're looking to rehome her is because my wife and I have a 1 year old and, because  Rylie is very active, we're afraid that she might get too excited and accidentally bump into our daughter and hurt her without realizing it and because she's deaf we don’t want her to go to just anyone. We want to her to go to a home where she will be loved and treated right because she is a very sweet girl.
