Story
Hi, everyone, my name is Spotty. I'm definitely part Chihuahua. My foster mom says I have a perfect little applehead. But she also says I'm something else, maybe terrier because of my coloring, maybe pug because of my tail. But I do know one thing, I'm an awesome dog. The vet says I'm about 8-9 years old, but that's not really old for a little guy like me. Get me outside on a regular schedule and I'm even housebroken. I was picked up as a stray in Lakeland, Florida and taken to an independent rescuer. She was going to try to find me a home after she tried really hard and couldn't find my previous owner. Since I can't talk in human language, I couldn't tell her my story. But she had to transfer me to another rescue because her deaf pom didn't like me. I can be cranky at times when another dog gets in my face or crowds my space. My foster mom says I should probably be an only dog because of this. Plus I have no front teeth to defend myself if I get into a fight with another dog which might very well happen because, in addition to liking my space, I like to steal food from the other dogs and I'm not really fond of sharing my human with other dogs. I understand human language pretty well though. When my foster mom calls me in from the yard and tells me it's time to eat, I come running (well, most of the time). Sometimes there are more interesting things in the yard. I like to sleep under the covers at night right next to my foster mom but I do need help getting up on the bed. My shots are current, I'm heartworm negative and I've been neutered. I only weigh about 8-9 pounds. Do you have room in your home for me? He has his rabies and dhlpp shots, tested neg for heartworms, neutered and he is microchipped. Adoption Fee $150 Located in Florida, must be within 1 1/2 hours from Tampa, FL to adopt this dog If interested please go to https://goo.gl/forms/R2ydY36T0lGin2X33 to fill out an application.

Story
#50 Antonio Located in Missouri Antonio is a little Chihuahua puppymill dog and a very handsome little guy. He is 8 yrs old and only weighs 10 pounds so very easy to pick up and carry. He had never lived in a home before his foster home and he is very under socialized. He is learning everything for the first time. While very timid, once he gets used to you, he is friendly, playful and loving. We can now pick him up, hold him and handle him. Antonio just needs a loving, nurturing Mom. We are looking for a women’s only home without children because he is a fearful dog and feels much safer with women. He will nip if he becomes afraid and he is what we consider a flight risk which means if he gets away from you, you may not be able to get him back. Antonio is very smart. It does takes some patience because he is fearful of new things but he has a willing to learn and catches on pretty good. He is not housebroken but he will go potty outside and he uses a potty pad if he has to go and isn’t let out. He doesn’t really let you know he has to go, we have set times all dogs go out. We always give him a potty pad inside, as well, just in case. Antonio has a nickname he comes to also - Little Bot, what can I say other than we watch Battle Bots. He has his rabies and dhlpp shots, tested neg for heartworms, neutered and he is microchipped and has had a dental in 11/2019. Adoption Fee Only $200 Located in Festus, Missouri If interested please go to https://goo.gl/forms/YN6oH5XmnyzUyNnd2 and fill out an application.

Story
Munchkin #30 Munchkin is a very special needs Chihuahua dog. He needs a very special owner or couple with a not too active lifestyle. He’s a little guy, very intelligent, about 7-8 pounds and around 5 years old. He has his rabies and dhlpp shots, tested neg for heartworms, he is microchipped, neutered and has a Halo for blind dogs. Munchkin, also called Munchee, is a very sweet, wonderful little guy with the people he knows. Unfortunately Munchee is blind from birth and his previous owner, without meaning too, trained him to bite anyone that wasn’t her! The foster home has done a lot of work with Munchee and he is sweet as pie with them, both the foster Mom and Dad can hold him and pet him at the same time. He gives them kisses too. So Munchee needs owners that will work with him as the foster home has so he can get used to them too. Munchee is housebroken and food motivated, as well as, fun to work with. Since he will bite when he gets scared, he needs owners that are familiar with working with snappy little dogs! No children and a safe environment for a blind dog. Munchkin comes with his own Halo for blind dogs to help him get around. He, somewhat, gets along with other dogs, he will get snappy if they get in his space, but at the foster home he does go outside with other dogs, inside he has his own penned off area. Munchkin has been good for grooming as well, even getting his nails done. He is a very special little guy waiting for his very special, forever loving new home. If interested please contact wandpets@aol.com for an application and adoption fee. We've had a wonderful lady who has donated $25 towards his adoption so it is only $75 Has shots, is neutered/spayed, tested and heartworm negative, and is microchipped. We of course offer free training help. If you are interested please email wandapps@gmail.com for an application. Located in Florida
