Story
Cody,13, was given to me as a trial to see if he would fit in with our family. Unfortunately he doesn’t get along with my bigger dogs. His original owner has refused to take him back and I have lost all contact with them. He is a very lovable old man that needs someone who doesn’t have large dogs and loves to cuddle. He is house trained and kennel trained. He would be perfect for an older person or couple or even a family that has children who would love an old pup to love on. He has well with my 3 children and my cat. He is not food aggressive and loves to pet and can still play around like he’s young again. He can be skiddish of new people at first but a little time and some treats and he comes right around. As far as I am aware of he will need to be updated on his vaccinations.

Story
I adopted nala when she was 6 months old from the pound. She was labeled aggressive but I proceeded with the adoption. She was aggressive towards her kennel, food bowl and toys. I’ve broke her of a lot of her outbreaks or behavior by getting rid of the opportunity. She knows to go into her kennel when you tell her to get in her bed. When you drop scraps on the floor she’ll go after it. I’ve taught her “leave it” and usually works or I distract her with a treat. With toys if she wants you to play with it she’ll bring it to you. I give her deer antlers that she loves to chew on. I believe she would do well in a home with just adults that has experience dealing with this. If I take her to the humane society she’ll be put down and I can’t bare the thought of that. She loves to be outside and walks. Love to swim and be active. She’s a very loving dog that I’ve developed an understanding with unfortunately my fiancé has a 4y/o and she’s worried about her behavior.

Story
Meet Beckett - an American Stafffordshire Terrier mix with an unknown background. With a past that definitely denied him of being a dog he came to rescue with horrible ear infections, intact and heart worm positive. While the ear infections are gone, they left him totally deaf. Now, he is neutered, heart worm negative and UTD on vaccines, heart worm prevention and flea/tick protection. Now, he is searching for his forever home. One in which he would do best being the only male dog with absolutely no cats. He is low maintenance, loves a comfy couch or dog bed to lay at your feet or by your side. His forever home must be committed to continue teaching him how to enjoy being a dog, enjoying his exuberance excitement and teaching more hand signals would be nice too!
