Story
He is happy and active, napping upside down running in his dreams, by your side, or in front of my kids doors at night. When nice out he has a harness and goes running 3+ miles with me at the park. He wont jump on new people but every new person who sits down has to let him endlessly. He is great with my kids for the last 4 years. One kid is 10 and the other isn't 3 yet and he was perfect around the newborn. Only requirement is a decent backyard to chase things that move, soak up the sun in the mornings and a tall fence. He can hop like a deer! Please ask any questions we want this to be as calm of a transition as possible for him and us.

Story
My name is Pete, and I'm looking for someone to give me lots of attention and love. I PROMISE I can fit in any lap or any snuggle spot, even if I'm 65 pounds! I'm around 3.5 years old, and have my bouts of energy, but I'm all for lounging around and napping as well. I'm crate trained and know my basic commands - sit, stay, down, come, and my mom even taught me how to "Paw" on command. I listen well and am eager to please you - I love getting rewarded with love and treats! I'm particular about my canine friends, so I would probably do best in a single-dog home without kids or cats. I'm big and goofy, but because of my size and excitement around other people, I'd worry that I'd accidentally knock a little one over, so an adult-only household would be ideal. An experienced owner would be best - I thrive with structure and want to find an owner that will respect me as much as I respect them. I love people but I do get anxious around them - I do great at boarding and the vets office though!

Story
What up hooman. I see you have come to my profile looking for a furever family member. Well I like that since I’m in the market for a hooman family. I’m 6 years old now and I have been with the rescue for a while now. Foster mommy got me when I was sick and skinny so she’s gotten me nice and fat on yummy doggo kibbles. I’m 52 pounds of nice, gentle, sweet, loving uhhh sorry got off track there but really I’m great. Foster mommy has been working with me to so I knows how to put my butt on the ground. (she calls it sit I call it treat time.) I also do my business outside and love going for walks. So I would really like to go to a home where I’m the only fur baby you have. Foster mom has other fur friends and sometimes I’m ok with it and other times not so much. It would just prawbably be best if I don’t have to share. I do great with all sizes of hoomans so I would be a great playmate for your hooman kiddos. Can’t wait to move in with you so come get me please. GOD'S DOGS Rescue, in San Antonio TX, does not have a shelter. Our dogs are raised in foster homes in the San Antonio area. Each dog comes spayed or neutered, up-to-date with age appropriate vaccinations, micro-chipped, heartworm tested and are current with monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives. ALL OF THIS IS INCLUDED IN THE ADOPTION FEE OF $400 for dogs over a year old, which also includes the cost of transportation to the assigned location. Medical records accompany each dog at the time of delivery. Microchips will be registered to new owner(s) within a week of arrival of your pet. If a name change is desired, the new name should be emailed to records@godsdogsrescue.org prior to arrival of your new pup. Please visit our website http://godsdogsrescue.org/ for helpful information re: transport, our adoption process and application, volunteering and fostering, and photos of our dogs/pups looking for homes!! Thank you for wanting to adopt a rescued dog, their LIVES depend on it!

“On the road again. Just can’t wait to get on the road again. Making music with my friends” Bowooooo wooo woo. Singing on the road is so much fun. My name’s molly and currently I’ve been road doggin with my foster mom while she travels for work. Turns out I’m an amazing copilot. I am about a year old and they call me a plott hound mix. I’m about 40 pounds or so and I’m as big as I’m going to get. Foster mom says I’m doing great learning all the rules to being in a house. I am potty trained and i don’t chew up your stuff, just my toys annnnd sometimes a water bottle. (plastic disposable ones.) I don’t do so great with other animals, and I’m not a super fan of wheels. Hey if it hasn't got legs it shouldn’t be moving. Speaking of moving I’m all ready to move in with you so come get me please.

Story
Velvet JuM 2 years, 12 lbs, Chihuahua/Boston Terrier mix, good with everyone, brindle My name is Velvet, but to my four little puppies, my name is appawrently, “boorrkkk, whaaaa, where’s my milk!!!!” Puppies, am I right? It’s like all they do is eat and poop, eat and poop. Thank the heavens above, they finally moved onto kibble and potty pads. I was a very young Mom at about 2 years old. I am 12 pounds which just so happens to be the perfect weight for laps. Which reminds me. Is your name Luxury? The lady said that I will need to live the rest of my life in the lap of Luxury, so I guess I need to look for an adopter named Luxury. I have a brindle coat and mostly look like a super-sized Chihuahua, this brindle coat could be from being mixed with a small Terrier like a Boston Terrier. Now that I am not raising my 4 puppies anymore, I spend time in the yard sunning myself. I am in a home with dogs, cats and learning potty training. I can’t wait to be in the lap of Luxury!!! Story
Introducing Ginger JuM *silently screaming internally* My verts are the intro kind, yet these humans expect for me to go full extro and show my verts to the entire world. No thanks. Too much stimuttlation just leaves me exhausted. I just wanna put on my pawverbial jammy pants, take off my bra or bras in my case, cuz I have extra privates, and binge watch Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Is that too much to ask? They call me Ginger, an interesting choice for a black dog, I know, usually reserved for redheads. Speaking of redheads, that reminds me of Ed Sheeran and Thinking Out Loud, the lyric “Cause honey your soul can never grow old, it's evergreen” really resognates with me. I am looking to be adopted by person that wants to remain faithfull for the rest of my years. I am currently about age 8-ish. I also weigh 40-ish pounds. I sound so ishy on that, because quite frankly and I don’t mean the weenie kind, quite frankly, asking a lady her age and weight is considered a faux paux in most cultures. I look like a black German Shepherd that was left in the dryer and shrunk. Or a Schipperke that ate a few extra Wheaties. Take your pick. Once you friend me, whether it be on Facebook or in real life, you will find my pint sized company more than tolerable and adequately refreshing. I hope we can chat in person or on the internets soon, prefurrabley the internets. Text me please, don’t voice call, it’s just nonscents. I am busy scrolling through cat memes, very busy.
