Faith UPDATED 9/27/19 Aussie seeking starring role in It’s a Wonderful Life – canine edition! This beautiful little lady has lived a life destined for the silver screen. After finding herself down on her luck, she is looking for an angel of her own to show her just how wonderful life can be.  Maybe that someone is you.    Faith is a smooth-haired merle Australian shepherd mix with lovely red and white markings offset by her striking blue eyes.  Faith is quite shy to start but this adorable girl is absolutely worth the effort.  Once she gets to know you, she is all in with belly rubs, kisses and tail-wagging galore!  Faith will truly blossom in a home where she feels loved, cherished and safe.        Faith needs her angel to hold her paw each step of the way and give her the courage to come out of her shell and really embrace the beautiful life waiting for her. This also mean Faith needs a fenced in yard where she can be free to run and play, fetch and chase.  Faith will also be very happy curled up on the couch watching her favorite old movie with her new family.   After all, movie night is the optimal time to work on loving her, petting her, sweet-talking her, and outright adoring her until she finally concedes, “it’s a wonderful life after all”!  Faith is between 3-5 years of age, housebroken, spayed and up-to-date on all vaccinations. She is not a candidate for leash training so she’ll need to be carried to those annual vet check-ups.  Faith would be fine with another canine companion in her forever home and has tested well with cats too.

Story
Shy at first, but once she warms up she's your best friend.BEAUTY IS NOT HOUSEBROKEN. She is a tiny little girl and she's about 9-10 years old. She could be puppy pad trained, but she'll likely never fully be housebroken. She will bark and growl and new people and it can sometimes take her awhile to warm up, but once she's made friends with you she's your best friend. She is probably under 10 pounds and those little legs make her quite small. She is looking for a calm home with a fenced yard that will be ok puppy pad training her and just giving her love for her remaining years. Beauty is looking for sponsorship! Autumn Acres Animal Rescue routinely has 20+ animals in our care. Would you like to make Beauty's stay with us a little better? Sponsor her by sending/bringing small toys, beds, treats, etc. Or help with ongoing medical care by making an online donation: paypal.me/AutumnAcres   Please fill out our online application: http://members.petfinder.com/~KS87/application.html Beauty's adoption fee is half price for the month! $75.

Big lug looking for a lifetime supply of belly rubsBig lug looking for a lifetime supply of belly rubs Say hello to Stallone!  This handsome yellow Labrador mix comes complete with a buttery blond coat, a joyful glint in his eyes, and an expressiveness that is sure to put a smile on any face. What this stocky boy lacks in stature, he more than makes up for in personality for days.  This charmer is a friendly and sociable boy who enjoys spending time with all his people and canine companions.  Unafraid to put it all out there, this ham will let you know exactly what he wants – and that’s usually belly rubs! Playtime and a stroll around the block are nice too, but Stallone is pretty serious about those belly rubs. So much so, he may request to stop mid-walk for a quick fix.  If you think you’ve got the right moves, this incredibly silly guy might be perfect for you.   With proper introductions, Stallone gets along with most other dogs but particularly enjoys the company of outgoing female dogs. Is that any surprise with a name like Stallone? Stallone is between 3-5 years of age. He’s neutered and up-to-date on all vaccinations and looking for a partner in belly rubs today!

Story
Sweetheart looking for a new beginning This gorgeous blue merle Australian shepherd mix is looking for a fresh start in a new home.  Hope is a tender soul. Shy to start, she warms up quickly once she gets to know you.   You’ll find yourself smitten with her sweet and playful nature. She has the most beautiful swirly coat of blues, grays and browns that just calls out for rubs and snuggles and friendly scratches behind the ears! Hope relishes every moment of affection and will reward you back tenfold.  She enjoys chasing all the usual balls and sticks and spending time romping and frolicking through her backyard with you! Surrendered through no fault of her own, Faith deserves a stable family to welcome her with open arms and renew her belief in happy endings!  Hope is not a candidate for leash-training; she needs a hands-on family willing to carry her to those annual vet appointments. Who couldn’t use an extra helping hand sometimes!  Hope also needs a fenced-in yard where she can get daily exercise playing fetch and horsing around with her new family.  On rare occasions, Hope may forget her manners and nip at dangling fingers when excited.  She wouldn’t want you to think it’s intentional but it does make her a more suitable companion for older children and adults.  Hope will thrive is a steady and calm home environment.  She dearly wants to please and deserves a special someone to love her in a truly forever home.    Do you have the steady arms to welcome sweet Hope into your family?    Hope is between 3-5 years of age. Housebroken, spayed and up-to-date on all vaccinations.

Story
Willow went missing on 2/14/08. She is microchipped and was outside for 10 minutes. We have never seen her since. We posted flyers and contacted all of the area vet offices. Willow loved people but didn't like cars so if someone took her she didn't jump willingly into their car. She had a red heavy duty collar with tags to our rescue and her rabies tag on it. We live in a rural area but we do have neighbors and no one ever spotted her. We will be keeping her listing active until we know what happened to her...
