Story
Mojo is super affectionate and energetic for a senior pup. He loves to swim and play in water, run and chase birds, go on car rides, or lounge around when at home. He was the one who picked me, from 1000's of displaced animals after the Joplin tornado in 2011. After living on farms most of his life, he is not too fond of living in a townhouse in the city. He would love to be someone's companion out on a farm for the rest of his days. He's great with other animals and with older children.

Story
Dyna is around 10 years old. She's a very gentle dog. She's protective as well. We are looking for re-home her because we are relocating out of state. She is old and doesn't do much anymore. We don't think she'll make the trip. She goes outside once a day now and sleeps the rest of the day, unless you give her these oinkie chews that she loves. She'll follow you around the house nonstop. The moving trip would be really hard on her physically. We love her and know she'll be happier with a low key person who will pet her and give her the attention she deserves at this last stage of her life. Please don't judge us. We have put a lot of thought into this, and know we are making the best decision for her and her well-being. She's good with cats and most other dogs. The only time she gets upset is when a dog tries to mount her.

Story
Lola is a high energy loving and loyal dog that has decided she would like to be the only pet or around similar dogs. She is not aggressive but has high anxiety with the other pets and this is not fair to her. She loves to cuddle and sleep underneath the covers. She loves humans and strives to be the center of attention. She has always been an indoor pet but could use some room to run

Story
Fred is 6 years old. Fred currently struggles with environmental allergies and needs weekly allergy shots and allergy medication to help with the allergies. Baths with special shampoos help with the itching and he is very use to baths done at home and for the most part doesn’t mind the hair dryer. Even with all that we still struggle to keep under control with breakouts, those things help but he needs something more I feel. Fred sees a vet dermatologist and will still need to continue to see one. When Fred does breakout, he gets hot spots all over, skin starts to turn black (just around his belly) and lots of scratching and licking. We have done several different rounds of steroids and antibiotics that do help temporarily. Although with Fred’s health issues he is a wonderful dog. He is a typical wheaten but spends most of his days laying around. He knows his basic commands and is kennel trained.

Story
Penny is approximately 1 year old this month (October), mixed breed, 32 lbs. She was a stray that was picked up, survived Parvovirus, is spayed, all shots current. We adopted her from the KC Pet Project the end of June. She is all puppy with LOTS of energy, plays very well with kids and other dogs, has never been with cats. With her training, she has come a long way since we have gotten her, she is kennel trained, knows basic commands (sit, down, shake), went to 6 weeks of obedience training. Growth areas include: occasional accidents in the house, anxious. THE reason why we are asking and looking for her to be rehomed is that she is too anxious and nervous around my husband. She DOES well with females, kids and other dogs. She has not been able to overcome her fear or nervousness and sadly it is not the right fit for our family. Penny is a very affectionate, loving and sweet dog, very active, has enjoyed our big backyard, would be a wonderful walking partner.
