Story

We’ve had Salvy for 4 years! We adopted him from KCPP, he was a stray. He’s been a great family dog. He’s great with our 8 year old but we recently had a baby and he’s a little aggressive with her. So we think it’s best that we find him a new one that will love him as much as we do. I would say great with older children, not babies. He 100% potty trained and stays in his kennel when we leave for the day, and barks if someone rings the doorbell or knocks at the door. He does jump and get a little crazy when visitors come to the house. We are looking for someone to take in our sweet boy and love on him. He’s a big baby, and loves to be cuddled. It tears us up to have to rehome him, but he just makes us to nervous around out 8 month old. He is a great boy who loves to run outside, play, cuddle, and sleep! He will come with his kennel, whatever food we have left, his dog bed, and his blanket. Thank you!

We adopted Zoey 10 years ago and she has been a GREAT addition to our family, but she is not able to move with us to our new home. She is 11-12 years old and is house trained. She has been indoor most of the time, but has been living outside full time with our other two dogs for the past couple months, so she can be either in or out. If she is outside by herself though she will likely beg to come inside. She is good natured and patient with little people. She loves attention but doesn't bug you all day for it. She loves food and we despite our efforts to cut back her portions she is still quite portly, though her health is good otherwise. While she was an indoor dog she did a great job of cleaning up crumbs (she made life easy while the children were little and making messes learning to eat).
