Story

Hi, I'm Sheena and I'm told that I am a very pretty lady! My foster mom says I am a very easy girl and I enjoy being with the resident dogs here. I get special meals...no chicken, eggs, dairy, corn and a few other things that foster mom has found that I am allergic to but it doesn't bother me, I can still eat beef and fish and alot of other foods! My allergy meds have been decreased and I feel and look great! One day foster mom had to take me to the emergency vet... they had to put me on medicine due to something called epilepsy but it is totally under control now and luckily I am told the medication is not expensive. At times when I am outside or in new places I am a little timid but once I settle into the situation or the place, I am my old easy going, lovable self. I am waiting for my forever home where I can snuggle with my humans and be a part of their family. Won't you consider me?

Story

I had the pleasure of taking care of Harper for almost 2 weeks while her foster parents were away. While Harper was with me, I learned a lot about her. Harper can be very sweet and lovable, goofy and playful and she is very smart. Harper has a lot of wonderful qualities which all come out once she relaxes and acclimates to her surroundings. Unfortunately, Harper's nature seems to be very overprotective. It appears that she willingly accepts everyone in the household, but is leery and unsure of any new people. After discussing it with her foster family, we feel she acts this way out of fear. We believe that with patience and training (for the owner as well as Harper) she may, stressing the word MAY here, MAY be able to over come this. So at this time, we are not recommending she go to a household with small children or even teenagers because all the busy in and out will definitely stress her out. The ideal environment for Harper would be a home with an older couple who don't have children or a quieter household. As far as other dogs go, Harper loved my boxer who is a very tiny and petite 4 year old female boxer. Like any boxers, sometimes the play was rough, but I never had to intervene or separate them or shut down the play. I also crated Harper at times to see how she would react, she crated completely fine. I did gate her in my family room at night and she slept thru the night quietly with no issues. She does all her business outside and eats her meals when they are served to her. She responds to her name and comes when called, she also gives paw and sits. Harper has been in rescue too long, she needs to find her forever home. She is still so young and would make a great addition to the right household. She really is a wonderful dog who just needs a chance to thrive in the right situation.

Bear is a 5 year old boy who knows his basic commands (sit, stay, lay down, come). He is a big boy and when you come home from a long day at work he will try and give you a big hug ! He loves long walks or short ones, he just loves to be with you. He loves to sleep in bed but doesn’t mind a nice giant bed either. You don’t have to worry though, he won’t eat it. Bear does not like other dogs. He does not like cats either. He loves children and honestly any person he meets. He is amazing behaved if you bring him to the groomers for a nice deshed / blowout . Bear just wants to cuddle, share a big bowl of popcorn, and watch your favorite netflix show/movie. He makes an amazing companion who just wants to be by your side 24/7. !

Whiskey & Bullet are beautiful and loving Lab/Pit siblings which i bought as puppies. They are Extremely friendly and lovable. They love people, affection, to play outdoors and are fully house trained. I am looking for a good loving home for them would prefer to keep them together as they have never been separated but if i can find a home for both even in separate homes that works too as long as its a loving home as they are very used to being loved and are spoiled. They love running in the snow and sunning in the sun they love playing together, going for long walks and running around in the yard playing fetch. They are very good around people, kids and other animals. They will be 5 years old on December 27th. I have all medical documents, chip #'s and medical history which I will provide, they are all up to date in all their vaccines. I hope that i can find them a good home. Thank You.
