My fiancé and I adopted Jack a few years ago from a kill shelter in NYC. He’s been a wonderful addition to our family, but as we have taken in more dogs to foster and try to adopt out we’ve come to realize that Jack needs to be one on one with a family as he doesn’t love to share the spotlight. He’s a very smart, athletic and cute dog. He loves to run, go for walks and cuddle in your lap. He’s approximately 6 years old and is house trained. We love him dearly, but we need to do what is best for him as the additional dogs give him stress and anxiety. We hope we can find the right home for him as he deserves all the attention and love he can get.

COURTESY POST. Meet Coby! This very sweet, handsome hound/retriever mix is seeking a new forever home. In his present one he's proven to be good with their kids and cats. He is good with other dogs off leash. He is sweet and affectionate and loves to be cuddled. (After his playtime, he is a total couch potato.) Coby's also super smart and knows a lot of tricks and is eager to please his humans. He is house trained and crate trained. Coby's ideal home would be one where he is given daily, sufficient exercise with walks, hikes, etc.. A home with a fenced in back yard would be perfect for extra playtime for he loves to run and play. He'd be fine with a canine companion or two (intros always necessary) but would be fine as solo, too. Coby has completed puppy obedience and training classes. He is utd on his shots and is neutered. MEET DELILAH! Beautiful, smart and sweet, this sweet girl from the shelter is a wonderful canine! Delilah LOVES her walks and is very good on the leash. She loves to play and when done, is completely mellow in the home. She loves to cuddle and snuggle. She thinks she is a lap dog! Wonderful in the home, she stays by you quietly while you cook, read, etc. Delilah would thrive in a home with a single person or couple, or with kids, since she loves them. She is shy, however, around strangers and takes time to warm up. Delilah is a gorgeous, chunky, round staffy mix, with the most beautiful lined eyes. She is good with other dogs (always needs intros) and is doing great with her foster mom's cat! She is about 5 years old and weighs about 55 lbs. She is utd on vaccinations, spayed and microchipped. She does fine with other dogs (with intros of course) and can be a bit dog selective. She is a little shy around strangers, but okay after warming up. Basha would thrive in a loving, caring home that is active and gives her daily, sufficient exercise. She can be with other dogs (with intros) but would do fine as solo. Brody is typically calm and docile. He LOVES his chew toys. He is very protective of his humans. He is fine with adult strangers if they give a slow approach and he does behave in a mellow fashion around his guardians. His ideal home would be a quiet one, one that knows, loves and respects the breed. One where they understand his need for routine and predictability. An adult only home would be best. Brody has had experience only with the small dogs in his home, so any other dogs would have to be compatible (intros needed). Brody knows basic commands such as sit, go back, heel.
