Congratulations to Natasha on passing her C.L.A.S.S. BA test! C.L.A.S.S. stands for Canine Life and Social Skills, and Natasha totally aced her test after training on things like loose leash walking, meet and greets, leave it, settling, and more. She's one smart, well-trained pup! Velvet soft fur and an equally soft heart... that's Natasha. This 4 year old young girl came in pregnant and heartworm positive. Her puppy found a home, her heartworm is all gone, and she's ready to find her forever home and live happily ever after. Natasha recently passed her Canine Life and Social Skills test, showing off what a smart, well-trained girl she is. Learn all about her in the video below, and e-mail trainer@spca914.org or call (914) 941-2896 x24 with any questions.

I'm eligible for critter credit!! With my adoption, you will receive a $1,000 credit toward a select trainer or a gift card to Petco or Petsmart!! Critter Credit cannot be used towards adoption fee. We are so proud of Sadie -- and from that smile on her face, she's pretty proud of herself, too! She just passed her C.L.A.S.S. B.A. and M.A. test! C.L.A.S.S. stands for Canine Life and Social Skills, and by earning her B.A. and her M.A., Sadie has shown that she's mastered things like meet and greets, loose leash walking, stay, settle, leave it, and more. In other words, she's one smart, well trained pup! It's time for our star student to go home Sadie is around 10 years old and she's a real brindle beauty! She may have a little grey in her muzzle, but she's got a lot of pep in her step. She's active, playful, and very friendly. Sadie loves spending time with people. She's not a fan of other dogs or cats. She's a mature girl who's well-mannered and will make a great companion, adventure buddy, and best friend. If you'd like to spend your days playing fetch or going for long walks, and your nights snuggling with a furry best friend, Sadie might just be the girl for you! When to Come: Our hours are Monday-Saturday 10am-4pm and Sunday 1pm-4pm. Our adoptions are first come, first served based on the status of your application. What to Bring: Please bring a copy of your current pet(s)’ vaccination records (if you currently have a dog or cat or did within the last 2 years) and a copy of your lease (if you rent or own a condo/co-op/townhouse) in case we are unable to get hold of your veterinarian or landlord/management company on the day you come in. Adoption Process: We do same day adoptions pending application approval/satisfactory reference checks, except in the case of dogs listed as Trainer Adoptions (on occasion, some Trainer Adoption dogs are able to go home same day). With all adoptions, every person living in the home where the dog will reside must come meet the dog, and any dogs already in the home must come for a meet and greet as well. We do NOT hold animals, nor do we accept deposits in advance. If you have discussed coming in to meet an animal or have an approved application, this does not guarantee that you will get a particular puppy or dog. If you do not bring your dog(s) or all residents of your home to meet the dog, we cannot hold that dog for you. Adoption Fees & What’s Included: All dogs and puppies are spayed/neutered, microchipped, vaccinated (age appropriate), and come with a free veterinary visit from a participating vet within seven days of adoption. Adults dogs over 1 year of age: $225-$375 All Puppies: $375 Seniors and Lonely Hearts Club members: $85 Please visit: http://www.spca914.org/adoptanimal.htm to read our Adoption Policy and Procedures in full. Beyaz is around 4 years old and he's a smart guy. He came to us all the way from Turkey! Here are a few fast facts about him: • He LOVES other dogs! He's a soft, gentle player with them; he's into running and leaping more than wrestling and bitey face • He would love to live in a forever home with another dog or two! • He's a shy gentleman who is still acclimating to his new life here in New York • With a little patience, Beyaz's shyness fades and once you're friends, you're friends for life! For more info on Beyaz, come visit him and talk to one of our adoption counselors, or e-mail trainer@spca914.org.

Story
This guy has perfected the art of getting whatever he wants with just one look... and what he wants is love! This 5 year old boy is a total mush; he adores people and just wants to be around them. His perfect home would be one where someone is home part time, and we think kids around 8 and up would be a good fit (it really depends on the kids, so it's best to talk to our trainers!) Crosby is a smart, well-trained guy -- he's earned his PhD, the highest level you can achieve in our Canine Life and Social Skills training program! He's also house trained! To learn more about Crosby, e-mail shelter@spca914.org When to Come: Unless noted differently above, our hours are Monday-Saturday 10am-4pm and Sunday 1pm-4pm.
