Ozzie is a senior sweet heart with a soulful adorable little face, huge ears and loving eye gaze that pulls at the heart strings. Ozzie gets along with everyone and everything. All the dogs we've put him with, he accepts without protest! He's a homebody and adores a good lap snuggle, especially on a cold rainy day, Little Ozzie doesn't ask for much! He's a really good boy looking to spend the rest of his life surrounded by love, warmth and cuddles!! HAPPY girl Demi is so much fun!! As soon as Demi arrived, she showed us her super fun and adventurous side! She is a real active girl who loves to play, play, PLAY! Gentle games of tug, leaping high in the air for her rope toy, climbing up and over logs in the woods and sprint races through the fence with new friends Finney and Poe are all in a days work for Demi! With all of that time running around, she is still ready for more fun time! Demi has shown to be super calm in her kennel.. which tells us that she has a nice inside "chill button." It's very clear to us that Demi has been abused in her previous home situation. We don't have her history.. but sadly she will often cower or flinch if an object or hand is raised. We believe Demi was born an exuberant, zesty, outgoing doggie but situations and unkind humans have taught her otherwise. We always tell her no one will EVER hurt her again and she is safe from here on out!! Sweet Girl < Upon meeting someone new Demi is sweet and soft, approaches with caution and she appreciates some space to come and go on her own when meeting people for the first time. Demi is super easy to engage and is a big foodie.. treats and play is the way into Demi's darling heart! So learning to trust a new friend doesn't take much time at all! My husband and i adopted him in 2014 and it’s been amazing every single day since. The first day we adopted him we learned that he had not very good sight due to cataracts but he gets around fine. He is a very loving, cuddly dog. Over the last few months, Muppet has completely lost his sight and because of this has some anxiety. His anxiety attacks consist of barking, trying to be extremely close to someone, and whining, with most of this happening early morning. When we took him to the vet they just explained that it may be anxiety but did not offer any medications to help. He went weeks without an attack but has now been having them quite frequently and has become an issue with our living situation. Our entire family, on both sides, absolutely love him but nobody from our family or friends is able to take him. We do not want to let Muppet go but it is unfair to him for us to keep him when there is a home somewhere that can more efficiently take care of him now that he is a senior.

You actually have to be with Holden and touch him .. feel his incredibly soft super plush coat.. and then let him love on you.. you feel like his best ever human friend.. and snuggle with him and watch him fall no melt over on his back giving up his full belly for rubs.. to get what an incredible boy he is!! Holden's soft and easy on the leash.. happy to go anywhere you want and do whatever you want.. at whatever speed you want to do it at!!! Holden greets everyone with a polite and cheerful welcome! He is over the moon HANDSOME!! Crazy ridiculous HANDSOME! Holden thinks being a lap dog is bliss.. if you get down on the ground/floor he will slither and snug onto your lap .. relax as much of himself onto as much of you as he can... he loves connection.. affection.. he has the sweetest eyes and the most sincere gaze! He also has a beautiful big smile that says HAPPY HAPPY DAWG AM I!!

When people talk about dogs.. wishing they could be more like a dog.. Poe is what we refer to.. he's had some rotten luck in life.. but he is such a happy, fully present, utterly content wounded wanderer! Po sustained an injury and now his hind legs move as one limb with two paws! ITS AMAZING actually how well he moves along.. PLUS.. he's got an incredible attitude! Happy.. Poe is a happy happy sweet humble boy who's only got space for happy! Poe thoroughly enjoys group plays with other get-along kinda dogs.. a challenging male dog will prove to be a bit threatening to Poe so we make sure to pair him up with wiggly, easy going, confident doggies. Pippy, Penny, Madeline, Leo to name a few of his buddies! As stated above, despite his previous injury, Poe sure does well sprinting around the yard with his buds. Once in a while, he might trip but he always gets right back up and continues play. Now.. Poe's most FAV game ever is FETCH.. he will chase a ball all day long! He even knows how to drop the ball on command (often in trade for a treat!!) so we can give it another throw. He'll often break away from the pack to join up in a nice ball game. Guaranteed you'll never meet another dog like Poe in your life. We're not quite sure how Poe became the way that he is but we are sure he doesn't skip a beat! Did we mention he loves to SWIM?! Check out the photos of Poe's doggy paddle skills! A long hike to the reservoir is another fav activity for Poe!
