Story
These boys are litter-mates and we adopted them together when they were a couple weeks old. I would love to know that these boys stayed together for life. Born March 2017 and when they were young we often took them to the dog park and had many friends with dogs come to play. We have not had any dogs to the house in a while so I'm not sure how they feel about other animals and pets now that they have aged. They grew up next to our son who is close to the same age as them, but now we have a new daughter and are finding ourselves overwhelmed with the attention they need and financial needs to support them. They are great with visitors and kids once the excitement dies down a little, they do need extra attention from us when people first come in as they get extremely excited. They really enjoy each others company and are always cuddling together. Extremely rare for them to have accidents in the house and they don't chew our things. I think a home without children is where they will thrive.

Story
Edie and Andy, approximately 7 years old are a dynamic duo that must be adopted together. They came to Paws for Seniors from a rescue affiliate in the south western part of Virginia. Edie is full of happiness, very curious, and outgoing. She is very confident and will come right up to you or your friends to introduce herself and petting. Andy is also very friendly but a little more reserved, taking queues from his partner Edie. Both Andy and Edie are very healthy, (with no known issues), microchipped, and are up to date on required vacinations. They are crate trained and can stay in the same or seperate crates and they sleep throughout the night with no disruptions.  Andy and Edie would be great with a family with a secure fenced yard and older kids to play with. They get along with other dogs and cats and are versitle to whatever activity level is currently at hand: - chil time, watching TV - they chill in a soft doggie bed; Snuggle time on the couch - they are ready for the petting and snuggling; time to romp and play in the yard - they are up and ready and very quick on their feet. Bonded pairs are so difficult to find homes for, especially older ones. The great thing about adopting a bonded pair is that they rarelly have anxiety when left alone; they have each other to occupy their time when you are busy or doing family functions away from home. Your companion dog loves you but sometimes "dogs like to do dog stuff together.   Paws For Seniors Adoption Process Thank you for your interest in adopting a Paws For Seniors pet. Story
14 pound Kamelia and her 8 pound sister, Lehlia are a 14 year old bonded pair who were with the same family since they were puppies. Due to illnesses in the family, they could no longer give them the excellent care that they have known all their lives. These two received all routine medical care, (including vaccinations, wellness checks, dentals, full blood work, etc), annually throughout their lives. They are perfectly healthy with no known issues and still have alot of spunk in their step and a lot of love to give. Kamelia could loose a few pounds to regain her girlish figure. They get along with cats, dogs, and children, (we are not sure about toddlers under the age of 7).  They are looking for a family that would love the companionship of two low-keyed canine friends.
