Hi, my name is LOGAN. What’s yours? Nice to meet ya! https://youtu.be/ecfxslMRUJc Hey! Before you get attached to me, read all the way to the bottom. You will see that I am still in Houston, TX but I want to get OUT of Houston and OUT of Texas so I can have a really good life. I want to see Texas in my rear view mirror. A nice person came along and took me in and, now, I am ready to hit the road to your house! Uh, make that “our” house, OK? I need a house with a fenced-in yard so I can run and play in safety. (You may see me listed in several cities looking for my new home.) Wanna know more about me? OK, here goes! I am a Dobie/Lab mix. I am 1 and 1/2 years old. I weigh 60 pounds. I have had all of my shots and have been neutered so I am ready to travel to my new home with YOU. I have also been microchipped - whatever THAT is! I like playing with other doggies. I like kids, too, and those big humans named adults. I am a young and energetic pup and like to play and cuddle. Can you stand hearing more good stuff about me? I am a gentle, sweet and nice boy, they say. I need to learn all the things that will make me a good doggie and keep me safe. Will you do that for me......please? Oh, how I would love to have my own home and some peeps to cuddle with and they could love me and take good care of me. That is my first dream! My second dream is all about treats and playing and romping with my new family. Ah, I can see it all now! If you would like to take me home (and you know you do), please email doggydarlings12@gmail.com and she can get me on my way to a new and loving home! My adoption fee is $450 USD and includes my vetting, neutering, microchip, health certificate, travel crate AND airline transportation from Houston, TX to areas in the Northeast U. S., North Central U. S., Northwest U. S. and will be arranged by the rescue group. (This is a courtesy posting. )

Hi! My name is Tucker! I'm a Black Lab. Please read my bio below! (This is a courtesy posting for a 501c3 non-profit.) Weight and Age: I am 75 pounds and am approximately 2 years old. Background: I was pulled by the rescue from a kill shelter here in Houston after several of the volunteers had seen a posting on the shelter site asking for a rescue to commit to me. Medical Status: I have been neutered, micro-chipped, up to date on shots, and current on heartworm and flea prevention. I have no other health issues and am heart worm negative. YAY! Activity level: I am pretty active since I'm still young and love to play with my friends (human and dog alike)! Potty Training/Crate Training: I am crate-trained and potty-trained by my foster mom! Other Animals: Loves other dogs - Not a fan of cats. Location: Houston, TX but I'm available for out of state adoptions! Story
Meet happy Harlow! This precious girl was rescued from a kill shelter in Houston. She’s about 3 years old and 40lbs. She has big, hopeful brown eyes and a darling underbite. She’s a small black Lab mix, which is a great combo - manageable size and weight, black (our favorite color), active and fun-loving, smart as a whip, affectionate, very loyal and protective of her foster mom. Harlow is a bundle of energy and loves to chase tennis balls. She’s also a real squirrel fan. If she could she would climb a tree to get one that teases her. When she’s back from her walk or run or park time retrieving tennis balls like a pro, she will stand at the window for hours watching squirrels play or birds in the trees like she’s watching TV. Harlow is young, but she has learned her house manners. She is a very quick learner and loves to please. She knows sit, wait, drop it, leave it, down, come, kennel, let’s eat, let’s go outside, walks well on a leash and always seems happy. She likes to learn new things, and then will practice her new talents for her favorite treats. She loves her success, so she benefits from continued training and simple rules. She will sit while her food bowl is filled and wait after it’s put in front of her until she’s told, “Okay Harlow.” She sometimes chooses to lie by her person, but is also independent enough to choose to go lay in her big open kennel (one of her favorite places she uses as a lounge) or on her bed or the couch in another room. Harlow would do best in a home with bigger dogs and children that are older, or adults. She is not a fan of cats. She has the stamina of a young Labrador retriever so she needs a very active household and plenty of exercise. Harlow has truly positive happy energy, so she is a pleasure to have around. Harlow does have a medical issue but it does not slow her down at all. She has “fly biting seizures” and takes medicine every day with good control. These seizures are not what you are familiar with, they are just a small period of time where Harlow appears to be catching flies, they pass quickly. She has not had any for a very long time as long as she takes her daily pill. If you would like to make Harlow a member of your family, please complete an adoption application.

My name is Macy Grace from Korea and I am a wonderful 2 year old Female Golden Retriever. I am 55 lbs. and so excited to find my new forever home.  I am a very happy, affectionate, and friendly dog who was just saved from the Korean slaughter farms. Korea kills 2.5 million dogs a year to be eaten.  I am so lucky to get a one-way ticket to Seattle to find my new family. Take me on car rides, walks in the park, and I will become your best friend.  I get along well with people of all ages, gentle kids, and other dogs.  I need a home with a fenced-in yard and will do best with a loving family that can give me lots of exercise, love, and affection!  On all overseas adoption, we highly recommend our pet rescue dog trainer who will come to your home and help train your new pup for only $75.  My adoption fee of $ 2450. will cover my spay/neuter, DA2PP shots, Rabies, Bordetella, Deworm, Heart Worm Test, Grooming, Microchip, Boarding Fees, Health Certificate and airline transport cost from Korea to Seattle. A part of this adoption fee will also help us build our brand new 2 acre sanctuary. We are in need of building a new indoor barn for the dogs. The adoption fee is firm and helps cover medical expenses for our other rescue dogs in need of orthopedic surgery, urgent vet care, dental and teeth extractions, cherry eye removals, and more.  Donations are always appreciated to help pay down our vet bills at Greenwood Vet.  Ginger's Pet Rescue is a non-profit 501C-3 organization.
