Story
Hello! I'm Skeeter, an adult Shepherd mix with the prettiest blue eyes! I came to HSNEI when a shelter down South was overflowing with dogs. I'm an active girl who enjoys being petted and getting attention from people. I know a few basic commands already, but I'm willing to learn new ones every day! I'm potty trained and keep a clean kennel here at the shelter. I do have an old wound on my side, but it is healed and doesn't bother me at all! I just have a super cool battle scar now! I'm not fond of other dogs, so I would prefer to be the only pup in the house. You will NOT be disappointed with how loving I am! I would thrive in an active home willing to do a lot of activities with me, but as long as I'm loved, I will be happy! Nickname: Skeet-Skeet Potty trained: Yes!! Gets along with other dogs: I'd really rather not Gets along with cats: Noo Gets along with people: I love nice people!! Gets along with kids: Yes!! Treats: I guess but really I just want you to pet me Walks: Oh man yes let's go I'm so good watch me!! Skeeter's adoption fee is $225 and this will cover all her vaccinations, dewormer, monthly flea and tick prevention, spay, microchip, Heartworm/Lyme testing, and general care while with HSNEI. If you are interested in adopting her please fill out an application online at www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/HSNI-A-492

Story
Hi, I'm Stefan! I'm a super sweet mixed breed boy! I'm a happy go lucky guy whose mission in life is to love, love, love! I was previously just your average farm boy who moseyed around outside. I spent my days chasing wildlife and letting people know when a car pulled up the driveway. But since coming to HSNEI, the staff here thinks I have a lot of potential to be a lovable family man. Though I'm not to be trusted alone with cats, I typically love everything and everyone I meet: people, cats, other dogs, you name it, I love it!! I consider myself an incredibly friendly, good boy who has a lot to learn. And lucky for me, I love learning! Sweet family of mine, wherever you are, I'm really, REALLY excited to meet you!! Potty trained: Yes! Gets along with other dogs: So far, so good! Gets along with cats: Typically, YES! Sometimes, I chase them.. Gets along with people: Uhm, I LOVE people! Favorite movie: Twilight Stefan's adoption fee is $200 which includes all of his vaccinations, dewormer, monthly flea and tick treatment, Heartworm/Lyme testing, neuter, and general care while with HSNEI. If you are interested in adopting Stefan please fill out an application online https://www.hsnei.org/adoptions or stop by the Love & Friendship Adoption Center to meet him!

Story
Hey, I'm Dutch! Sorry, was that too bold?? Hi... my name is Dutch. I'm a very timid Collie mix boy. I am quite unsure about new people, but I don't have a mean bone in my body. I just steer clear of anything or anyone that I don't trust. I'm starting to open up a little bit with some of the staff here at HSNEI, but even with them I'm not 100% sure "how to dog". I started to play a bit the other day, but I got a little overwhelmed so I stopped... However, I am taking treats and giving kisses to humans that I like and trust. I know with a lot more love and the right family, I can and will be the best boy ever!! Dutch's adoption fee is $200 which includes all of his vaccinations, dewormer, monthly flea and tick prevention, Heartworm/Lyme testing, neuter, microchip and general care while with HSNEI. If you are interested in adopting Dutch please fill out an application online at www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/HSNI-A-626 or stop by the Love & Friendship Adoption Center to meet him!

Hello, I'm Pluto, a handsome large mixed breed guy who loves to be the center of attention. I LOVE people - they are my absolute favorite thing. I will sit pretty for you as long as you wish if I know there are treats involved. I really get along with girl dogs but boys aren't my favorite and cats I can be unsure of when I meet them. I love chasing thrown balls but I don't really bring them back to my person so make sure you have lots for me to chase all over the yard! Story
Hi, I'm Rose, I'm a gorgeous little hound who absolutely loves to run around with all my dog friends in the big yard here at HSNEI. I was found as a stray so the people here don't know too much about my history but they know I'm incredibly sweet. I don't know many tricks yet but I'm working really hard to learn them. I would love a home with other dogs to help me come out of my shell some more and to learn about why other dogs love treats so much. I would enjoy going on long walks as well as cuddling up with you on the couch after I smell every single thing in your house. Nicknames: Rosie, Rosiepoo, RoRo Potty trained: Yup Tricks: Working on it Gets along with other dogs: Absolutely Gets along with cats: Unsure Gets along with people: Always Treats: Not my thing Favorite things: RUNNING AND SMELLING Rose's adoption fee is $225 which includes all of her vaccinations, dewormer, monthly flea and tick prevention, heartworm/Lyme testing, spay and general care while with HSNEI.
