Story
Boomer showed up to our house a starved stray. We fed him, got his shots up to date and had him neutered. The vet estimated him to be around 1 year and a pit mix. He is great with our 3 kids, poodle, and cats. He is smart, lovable, and can fetch, sit, stay, and lay down on command. He is very protective, but has never been aggressive to anyone. By protective, I mean he will bark when someone pulls up to the house, but that is it. We live in the country and our fear is that he will start to roam and one of the neighboring landowners may shoot him. We do not have a fenced in yard. We would love to keep him if we had the right place. He would do great in a fenced in backyard.

Story
My Dad acquired Lucy because he lives in the country and my sister's fiance and herself were no longer able to keep her. My Dad had a stroke back in August 2018 and is now unable to car for her or her buddy Bo. I recently brought her to my home and updated her on shots and had her seen my the vet. She is such a sweet dog. Very gentle with others and children. I have a Rottweiler that isn't to fond of her. He has been the dominant for 8 years and I'm thinking she was also a dominant between her and Bo. I feel bad for her and I'm unable to keep her. She would definitely make you a great campaign dog. Loving. And even loves to shake your hand.
