Story
Hi! I’m Danton, a 10-month-old Labrador Retriever/Shepherd mix. I am a super friendly guy who thrives on attention! I’m pretty good at sitting on command, walk well on a leash, I am mostly potty trained and get along great with other dogs, cats, and kids. I'm a young, energetic dog. I would do best in a home where I have other dogs or kids to play with or someone to take me on walks so I can burn off some of this puppy energy. I can’t wait to meet my forever family! Wherever you are, get a hold of the shelter and set up a time to come get me! Call 972-382-3647 or email adoptionsmoh@gmail.com. I’m fully vetted and ready for my forever home.

Story
Hi! I’m Starlet, a 1 1/2 -year-old, 70 pound Lab mix. I’m a happy girl who would love to keep you company while you weather the current situation going on right now. You can take me for walks, play fetch with me, and you don’t need to be socially distant from me! I’ll take all of your up close love and attention! I love to play with my doggie friends here at the shelter but the kitties here aren’t a fan of me chasing them. I’d do much better in a home where these critters weren’t sharing my space. If you're ready for a new friend, I’d love to meet you!! You can reach the shelter at 972-382-3647 or by emailing adoptionsmoh@gmail.com to set up a time to come out and meet me. Once vetted I’ll be ready for my new home.

Hi! I’m Audi, a fun-loving 1 1/2 year old, 40 pound Labrador Retriever mix. I love belly rubs and running and playing in the yard. I’m potty trained and would do great sharing a home with other dogs or kids. I’m kinda interested in kitties and would probably do better in a home without them. I love attention and cuddling! I can be a bit jumpy when I’m outside, but tend to be calmer when I’m inside with you. I can’t wait to meet my new family! Come visit me at the shelter! You can reach them at 972-382-3647 or email adoptionsmoh@gmail.com I’m fully vetted and ready for my forever home.

Story
We are looking to re home our male chocolate lab. He is 6 years old and wouldn’t hurt a fly. We recently had our second child and the dog needs more attention than we can give. To be fair to him we are looking for someone who can give him what he deserves. He is crate trained, current on all vaccinations, and loves to play fetch and swim. He gets along well with most dogs but does have issues with male dogs who are not fixed. (He is not fixed). He is about 85lbs but thinks he is 20. He is very playful so I would deter families with toddlers or small children, he doesn’t know his strength.

Story
Paisley is a 7 year old female lab mix, about 40 pounds. She started as a great companion dog for 5 college roommates, then lived in an apartment for 4 years, and now in our home with a yard. She is crate trained, potty trained, has had formal obedience training, and is a very loving and low maintenance dog. Since bringing our infant into the home, she is not interested in bonding with the baby. Now that the baby is crawling, she is not a fan of being touched by her. She has never shown aggression, but she is definitely uneasy around small children, which makes me very uncomfortable. She is great with our nieces and nephews that are 8 years old and up. She would be excellent for college students, singles, retired couples or couples with older children.

Story
This gorgeous girl was found at an area park/campground. She was hiding under a picnic table with her brother. A good Samaritan picked them up and tried to find their home. No one came forward, and we took Petra into our program. Petra is an active and sweet girl. She loves her kiddie pool and her furry foster siblings. She enjoys playtime and naptime. Petra is looking for a family who will include her in all their adventures! If you've been looking for a sweet and stunning girl to join your family, Petra may be paw-fect for you! If you'd like to help Petra while she searches for her very own family, you can sponsor her for only $19/month here: https://petbucks.org/pet/6099/sponsor/create ***IMPORTANT- PLEASE READ*** The State of Texas requires rescues to collect sales tax on any adoption fees. Our adoption fee is $175. Texas State Sales Tax will be added to that amount. Due to the nature of our adoption process, our fosters are usually only able to consider forever families within a reasonable driving distance of the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. A vet reference and trial adoption will be done before finalizing the adoption. Thank you for your understanding.
