Rocko is a super sweet, high energy 10-month old lab mix (DOB: 1/25/19). We adopted him from a shelter in September 2019 and did not realize how young he was, how much energy he has or how big he was going to get. We live in an apt & both work a lot of hours and are finding we have to leave him in his cage too many hours of the day and night. He is gorgeous and his personality is amazing-he is super fun-LOVES tennis balls, sticks, peanut butter, going on long walks/runs, and playing fetch, tug-of-war or any other play time. He deserves a home where he has a yard and can get lots of attention. He is still considered a puppy and will need some training-he doesn't have any manners yet-but there is no aggression in him at all. He is just a big silly toddler! Rocko is smart and will respond well to training, but we don't have the skills to handle him. He is a great dog, we have just realized we are not great dog owners. I want to find Rocko a loving, forever home!!

Six puppies were born after an owner abandoned his dog when he moved. The Momma gave birth under a neighbor's house so she saved them. She has reached out to us to help her find great homes for them. Ruby Rose is 12 weeks old on 3/19/19 and weighs about 20 lbs. .Ruby Rose is smart knows how to go in and out of the dog door on her own. Very entergetic likes to rough house but likes to cuddle too The Mom was a Lab/possibly Pyranese mix. We think they will be large dogs (?) but no way to be sure - possibly medium/large. Huck has proven to be an absolute wonderful companion. He loves other dogs, people, playing, and snuggling. Huck is a neutered male and is approximately 46 pounds. He is completely house trained, crate trained and snuggle with you on the couch trained! We estimate he was born in April 2019 and he's about 40 lbs. He loves his foster-fur sibling and enjoys going on outings with his foster dad. Huck has the sweetest face and personality to match. Huck's adoption fee is $225 and that covers his vaccinations, neuter, microchip and he's on monthly heartworm/flea/tick prevention. Everyone who meets her raves about her! A Good Samaritan found this sweet puppy on the streets severely emaciated. She was nursing her back to health when she came home to find her dad had gotten rid of her! Our hearts sank (we had been mentoring her and offered to cover vetting as they were located in Houston and we're in Dallas). We searched the shelter listings for days and finally found her! We quickly hustled to take her into TSDP! Bella was adopted by a family with another dog, 2 cats and a 10 year old kid and got along well with them but she's been recently returned due to the adopter becoming ill. We estimate she was born in Dec 2018, she's about 37 lbs and her adoption fee of $225 covers her vaccinations, microchip, spay and she's tested negative for heartworm and is on monthly prevention. Bella loves other dogs and will make a wonderful addition to a lucky family!
