Story
I first met Squirrel March of 2019. She started hanging around the church and I quickly fell in love with her. I believe she is 3 / 4 years old. Very intelligent. Loves being outside. She seems to be familiar with herding animals. She is 95% house trained and will let you know when she needs and wants to go outside. She truly is a sweet girl. Her last owner was rough and abusive towards her; due to that she does play a little rough, and will cry out in fear with a gentle tap on the bottom when she is in trouble. It is very important she go to a loving patient tolerent owner. I work 12- 14 hours a day and it kills me to keep her inside alone all day, and want to find her a loving active home to adopt her.

Story
I first met Squirrel March of 2019. Someone dumped her in the same neighborhood as our church. She started hanging around the church property in shaded areas. At this point she was terrified of all humans. Anytime anyone approached her she ran off. We started giving her water and food at the begging of summer due to the heat. That's when she started to trust me enough to pet her gently and sit with her while she ate. At the end of July she trusted me enough to come home with me. Her biggest qualities are: Very intelligent. Out smarted Arlington Animal Control 3 maybe 4 times :) Loves being outside. She seems to do well with other people, who come into the home. I've noticed when we are in public she guards herself more and stays against my leg. I believe she is fixed. I've had her for 7 months now and she hasn't had a cycle and our male dog (who isn't fixed) hasn't shown interest. She is 95% house trained. Will let you know when she needs and wants to go outside.

Story
Journey was abandoned in a subdivision as a puppy at about 3 months of age and no one ever reclaimed him. Journey is a very energetic and intelligent dog. He is believed to be mixed with Jack Russel and possibly Heeler but it is unknown. Journey is about 3 years now, neutered, and up to date on vaccines. He is potty trained and kennel trained. Journey would be a great addition to any family with or without kids, as long as he has someone to help spend some of his energy! He does great with other dogs and cats! Journey would love to live with a family that has land for him to run and play!!!

Charlie is a tan and white, 12 pound, chi mix, energetic cuddle bug. Cat, kid, and small dog friendly. This sweet boy has just completed his heartworm treatment, and is excited to find his forever home for Christmas! Charlie has spent the past several weeks on bed rest so he is still learning to ask to go outside for potty breaks. He celebrated the end of his treatment by zooming around the yard last night . If interested please apply at savinghoperescue.org.
