Story
This sweet boy is 2-1/2 years old and has been in our care for more than half of his life. He had been with a family that had many dogs and was very loved by his mama. However, after getting abused by and then constantly taunted by his ”dad”, Ranger lost his patience one day and snapped. Dad didn’t like that and took him back to the shelter he’d been adopted from. We took him in to save him from having to stay there... this was not his fault. Unfortunately my other male dog has started getting aggressive towards Ranger. Its not fair that this good boy is now living in constant fear that he’ll be jumped for no reason. It’s heartbreaking. Ranger is smart, knows basic commands, and then some. He just wants and deserves to be loved. I don’t have small children so I’m not sure how he feels about them. His abuser is a tall, bad man and Ranger seems to be a little fearful of that body type.
