Story
Skye is a 9 month old female Aussie Shepherd and Lab Retriever mix. She is very energetic, loving and curious. She is still learning how to play (such as letting go of the ball) but she loves to learn and try new things. She's gorgeous and would do best around a family setting as she loves company. A yard that she can run around in would also be a huge plus as she is still figuring out what her top speed is and loves to make sharp corners. She is currently up on her shots and she has an appointment to be spayed soon. We acquired Skye and her sister Luna from Greenville Shelter and they were very excited to be out of there. We would love to keep these babies together but will understand if you can only take one. Unfortunately, some unforeseen events have occurred where we regrettably need to re-home them. They are great dogs deserving of an amazing home.

Story
Are you looking for a dog to run and snuggle with? Look no further! Scout is a 2.5 year old energetic lovebug. She is sweet with other dogs, and our children, but she is very excitable so she would be more suitable in a home with older kids. She is extremely high energy, and would do very well in a home with a regular runner and a dog sibling that can keep up with and tolerate her roughhousing. She will need more practice walking on a leash but is eager to learn! Scout is an escape artist and needs to be supervised while outside, as she can easily scale our 6 foot fence. I'm hopeful that an 8 foot fence could keep her in but it's definitely not a guarantee. We have unfortunately found ourselves in a spot financially where we can not give her what she needs, nor the home environment where she would thrive. Please consider giving this sweet girl the home she deserves!

Story
Piper is a sweet little pit bull/Boston terrier(?) mix that I found chained and padlocked to a tree in south Dallas in the dead heat of summer, without food or water. It was obvious she had never been in a home before, as everything was new to her— including stairs, ceiling fans, and cabinets— and I don’t think that she had ever experienced love and affection until I brought her home that day. She has come SUCH a long way since then. She is now potty trained, crate trained, knows sit, stay, down, heal (although needs a lot of reminding), "go potty," "go poop," and “get in your crate.” She’s an absolute love bug, incredibly adorable, and doesn’t have a mean bone in her body. She does have a ton of energy and NEEDS a yard! Piper deserves to find a family that has the time, space, and attention to give her!!!!! I am willing to donate her crate, blanket, harness, leash, food/water bowls, and toys.

Story
It took me over a year but I was finally able to convince my father to surrender his dog to me while I searched for a more suitable home. I fought hard to get him out of the toxic home I grew up in. I was so worried about bringing Coal Buddy being at home with my 2 cats but not once did he show aggression towards them. He absolutely adores them! Regardless of him never seeing one before or them being complete brats to him. Coal Buddy had never had any training, nor have I ever fostered a dog, he was easily accepting of basic dog training(with the exception of leash training) in just a couple days. Within a couple of weeks, he was completely comfortable with any dog that crossed his path and was well mannered at my local dog park. Coal Buddy needs a home that is willing to give him the affection he needs with the space he deserves. It breaks my heart but I'm moving in 13 days and cannot take him with me..

Story
I'm a very handsome dog that's quiet most of the time. I want any chance to get out of my kennel. Once we're out, you'll see the funny, playful boy that I am! I just love to be around people, especially when they want to play fetch! I can't be kept kenneled at your house, it scares me and I just hate kennels! I can be dog selective while we're out. I'm pretty good in a harness, but need more training on a leash. I'm such a lovable guy & I will talk to you sometimes with my own cute language! Please come give me the chance to win you over!**DURING THE COVID-19 CRISIS WE ASK THAT YOU MAKE AN APPOINTMENT TO VISIT THE SHELTER

Story
Kilo is an amazing 3 year old pit bull mix. He’s so sweet, any human that meets him gushes over how well behaved he is. He just isn’t good with other dogs. He did try to attack my girlfriends dog and gets violent only with other dogs. He deserves a great home with a yard where he is able to run free. But he does need to be an only dog. Sweetest guy you’ll meet.
