Story
Foster came to us at 4 weeks old after losing his mother. He is now 4 years old. Foster will do well in a home where he is the only dog. He gets along with cats. He does better with older children; he is nervous around toddlers. Foster is house broken and loves his crate. He behaves well when home alone uncrated during the day.

Story
*Hudson is currently in a foster home during our COVID closure. If you would like to meet him, please complete an application online at https://rockwalladoptions.com/adoptfoster/adoption-application/*Meet Hudson! Hudson is a handsome 6 year old (approx), male, Beagle/Shepherd mix, who weighs 30 Lbs and is now looking for his furever home. He was originally found on 01/26/2020 off of Kings Pass in Heath and never reclaimed. Hudson is almost completely blind but he does not let that bring him down. He is a genuinely sweet boy who gets along with other dogs, older kids and seems to be housebroken/crate trained. Hudson does need a little work on a leash. If you have other dogs in the home feel free to bring in your dogs for a meet and greet prior to adoption Hudson would love to meet them! He does not do well with cats! His adoption fee is $125 which includes his neuter, rabies vaccination, microchip, heartworm test and boosters to date. Hudson is heartworm positive and will need to go through treatment once adopted. The vast majority of Hudson's treatment is covered through a local organization we have partnered with called Rockwall Paws. Adopters pay on average $30-$60 during the course of treatment usually for a medication that may be prescribed. Once treated, Hudson can go back to living a full and healthy life one this sweet boy really deserves! Please feel free to ask staff if you have any questions or concerns about heartworms and the treatment. Story
Meet Nellie! Nellie is a 6 year old, female Lab/Heeler mix that weighs 40 lbs and is currently available for adoption. She was originally found off Summer Lee in Rockwall and never reclaimed. Nellie is super sweet and walks on a leash well. She does prefers to be the only dog in the home since she is dominate with other dogs. She has not had any negative reaction to the cats in our cat meet and greet and we believe she would possibly be just fine with cats in the home. Her adoption fee is $125 which includes her spay, rabies vaccination, boosters to date, microchip and heartworm test. Nellie did test positive for heart worms but not to worry! Thanks to a local organization called Rockwall PAWS, the majority of heart worm treatment is covered for all our adopted HW positive dogs. After treatment, along with a monthly prevention, dogs return to a full and healthy life without any restrictions or side effects. Come by and meet Nellie today! Story
Meet Cowboy! Cowboy is a handsome 2 year old, male, Pit mix who is searching for his furever home. He is house broken, crate trained and walks well on a leash. He does have more of an alpha dog mentality and does not do well with small/medium sized dogs or cats and can be selective with dogs his size or larger. If you have another dog in the home a meet and greet is recommended prior to adoption. Cowboy is an energetic boy who would do well in an active home or one with older kids who can take him out for walks every so often and give him plenty of attention. Cowboy really loves to play fetch with tennis balls! His adoption fee is SPONSORED and Cowboy has been longing to find his furevr home for 90 days (as of 02/09/20) and counting. He is neutered, up to date on his yearly vaccines, microchipped and heartworm negative. Story
Hello my name is Nacho. I am a super sweet and very playful 1 year old Lab mix that weighs 50-55lbs. I love to go for walks and play with chew toys. I am hoping to find a FURever family that has the time and patience to work with me and help me become the best doggy I can be. I do sit for treats and I am leash trained. I am also crate trained. I can be a digger, so I would need a secured yard. I am friendly with dogs that can tolerate my energy and I am suggested with children 8 years and older. I have never shared a home with cats. My adoption fee is $125 which includes my neuter, rabies, microchip, basic boosters, and heartworm test. Come meet me today!
