Story
We obtained Roxi from the Dallas shelter and believe she is 6-8 months old. We are pretty sure she is a Pharaoh mix. She has the Pharaoh body and a black coat. Roxi has had puppy training and three sessions of agility training, which she very much enjoyed and was good at, because she is quick and learns things instantly. She seems to really enjoy being trained and having a "job" to do. Roxi is a really fun and cool dog, but she is high energy, which is the reason we are trying to re-home her. We are an older professional couple who do not have the time to give Roxi the attention she needs and deserves. Roxi would thrive in a family that is outdoorsy and active. She'd be a good frisbee/agility dog or a great jogging partner Roxi is house trained, and uses a doggy door Roxi's hobbies include running, playing, eating and watching TV.

Story
We got Bandit from the Walmart parking lot. He was the size of a burrito. He was precious! We just recently moved from the country (6.5 acres) to the city. We thought the backyard to our new home would be plenty big enough but its not. It has a huge pool that takes up alot of it. We thought the green patches would be fine. They aren't. He is getting bigger every day and he is miserable. He is tearing up everything back there. I have to surrender him. Its not fair to him. He needs an active family that maybe jogs or cycles (someone who is active and can take him with them, a buddy for him). He just wants to be with you. You can tell him to lay down and he will lay right beside you. He is such a sweet, loving, high energy dog. He is kennel trained and knows "go get in your bed" & he goes right to his kennel He knows sit, back and no. He is really smart. He needs someone that will work with him and teach him more. Unfortunately we don't have enough time.

Story
Babs is around 18 months old (born Aug 2018). She's very sweet, but has lots of energy. She would do very well in a house that has other dogs for her to play with or someone that will be home more to play with her. She loves the kids and is a very happy, cuddly dog.

Story
Ranger came into our life when he was just a pup! He was given to us by a friend who could not keep him at the moment. Unfortunately we realized that our lives were too busy to be able to care for him the way he deserves. So my father in law offered to take him in, and care for him. Since he was a puppy, ranger has loved being outside! Which is why we got him an outdoor dog house, & he loved it! But eventually the pup started growing and growing, he actually no longer fits in his house!! I have also seen that he is waaaaay to active and playful for my father in law; an older (74 year old) senior to be caring for him. He needs someone who can actually people train him, and take him out for runs/walks more often, someone who can actually keep up with him.

Story
Star is a sweet dog who loves attention. My daughter adopted her from the Rowlett Animal Shelter on October 22, 2019. At time Star had only been in the shelter for 2 weeks. Unfortunately, our daughter (20 yrs old) did not consult with us prior to the adoption. Our current dog is known to be defensive and protective his boundaries. We have tried to make it work for three months and there is still much tension - mostly on our current dog (Simba)'s part. Star gets along well with visitors to our home. We have another puppy that my daughter also brought home. The puppy and Star get along very well. Simba is the hold-out. Star is on a heartworm regimen being paid for by the Rowlett Animal Shelter. We use Premier Vet here in Rowlett. The situation is a bit urgent as my wife is undergoing back surgery very shortly and we will not be able to keep the dogs separated 100% of the time. The Rowlett Animal Shelter named her Syrup. We changed her name to Star.
