Story
Baby is a big kisser! She loves giving love and attention in return for your love and attention. She is approximately 2 years old, and loves playing dress up.Baby came to us with hair loss that is determined to be from allergies to something. While we don't know just yet what she is allergic to, she is on steroids to try to bring her coat back to the lustrous sheen we know it can be. Baby is extremely playful and has tons of energy. She loves playing with with anything you can throw. She even knows how to bring the ball back! She is excited around other dogs but hasn't been tested with other dogs fully. Baby is up to date on her shots, heart worm negative, up to date on her monthly flea/tick medication, microchipped, and spayed. At this time, Addison Animal Control has suspended all adoption appointments. Please contact us at 972-450-2845 or addisonanimalcontrol@addisontx.gov to be kept informed of when we will be resuming adoption appointments. Our adoption fee is $10.

Story
Kazi is a sweet adult dog, about 5 years old and 17 pounds, who wants you to earn his love and trust! He is very curious, and once he gets to know you, he will come right up to you. Kazi's cautious nature means he would prefer slow movements towards him. Once he trusts you we will be your very best friend! He is okay being carried and is receptive to cuddles. He shows interest in getting into laps but hasn't quite felt comfortable enough yet with us. Kazi is super calm and prefers going on walks, rather than runs. He is eager to find his family that will be patient in earning his love and trust.Kazi is up to date on all his shots, neutered, heart worm negative, and on monthly flea/tick medication. At this time, Addison Animal Control has suspended all adoption appointments. Please contact us at 972-450-2845 or addisonanimalcontrol@addisontx.gov to be kept informed of when we will be resuming adoption appointments. Our adoption fee is $10.

Story
Now located in Houston, TX Lola is a 7 year old spayed female rescued from a shelter in Southern California. Her owner surrendered her because they were moving out of state and couldn't take her with them. They reported that Lola enjoyed being outside in their yard, was crate trained at night inside the house, enjoyed baths, and was good with kids. While at the shelter, Lola won the hearts of all the volunteers and dog walkers! They reported that she is very friendly, affectionate, mellow and well-behaved. She loves to be cuddled and scratched, and will roll over for belly rubs. Lola has some basic obedience training, including leash walking, and does well in the car. She loves walks and playing and has a medium energy level. We are continuing to learn more about Lola as she is currently in her foster home. She needs training, but is food and treat motivated and willing to learn. She loves all people she meets, but is not too fond of other dogs. She has never been around cats, but has a strong prey drive, so we think she should be the only pet in the home :) Lola is a sweetheart that is looking for someone that can give her a lot of love and doesn't mind kisses! This girl also enjoys posing for photo shoots! She is fantastic in the car and is willing to travel for the perfect home! Story
Mowgli came into our lives about 5 years ago. At that time we had another beagle puppy we were looking for a friend. We adopted Mowgli from a couple who did not have time to play with and love her. Our other beagle passed away unexpectedly 2 years ago, and since it has just been Mowgli and our kitty xxxx@xxxx.x recently, we have welcomed a baby boy to the world. Prior to getting pregnant we sold our home and moved into an apartment in the city where we were able to enjoy long walks with Mowgli. Since bringing baby home we have not been able to enjoy those prior long walks, we really haven’t been able to give Mowgli the time she deserves. Mowgli is house trained, she does well confined in a designated space or wandering about. She does have skin allergies that she takes a daily pill for. She was good with out other beagle, but has gotten grumpy towards other dogs in her old age. Has never bitten anyone or any other dog. She really loves to be cuddled and petting is her favorite.
