Hello! My name is Dylan and I'm a super sweet Shepherd mix pup! I'm about 32 pounds, born approx 4/10/16, housetrained, crate trained and great with other dogs. I LOVE treats, playtime and chasing balls. Cuddling and having my neck rubbed are some of my favorite things. I'm ready for some TLC from a loving person that will be patient and gentle as I gain more confidence. I have a BIG heart, lots of love to give, and there's only one thing missing and that's YOU! Thanks for sharing me so I can find my very own furever home!Dylan is up to date on all vaccines, microchipped, neutered and on heart worm and flea/tick preventatives. Story
Hi, my name is Raylan! My upbringing wasn't humane but I'm looking forward to a bright future! I’ve gained a lot of confidence at the rescue and get along well with everyone. I wear my heart on my sleeve as they say and you can see that in my eyes. If I do say so myself, I have Bea-u-teee-ful eyes! If I could attach myself to you, I would! Loving is my specialty and I crave it. I do have food allergies and take a steroid for that and also get to eat a special food. I was born approximately Nov 1, 2014, weigh about 71 pounds and am a pit bull terrier mix. I'm ready to smother you with affection in my new forever home. Let's make it happen!Raylan is up to date on all vaccines, microchipped, neutered and on heart worm and flea/tick preventatives. Story
Meet Zoey! We know there is someone out there with a huge heart  that will open their home to this sweet, beautiful, senior-ish princess. Zoey is very sweet, social, and smart. She loves her toys but most of all LOVES  being near her people at all times:) She is great with other doggies and older considerate kids. No cats.   Zoey is about 10 years old, HW negative, spayed, up to date on vaccines and microchipped. She has an old injury  that doesn't cause her pain but prevents her from putting weight on her right front leg which does not slow her down a bit!     She is crate trained and potty trained. She does great in the car and sleeps quietly throughout the night in her crate. If you have room in your heart for a special lady, please complete an adoption application at the link below. Her foster family will be in touch within 48 hrs via email.   https://legacyhumanesociety.org/adoptfoster/adoption-application/  We do not have a facility to house the dogs in our program. Story
Hi! I'm the fabulous Whitney! I am a terrier mix born approximately 3/19/14, 15 lbs, and I love to run and play with my doggie playmates. I am super athletic! I'm also a big love bug, lapdog and I love to cuddle and snuggle. I am crate trained and am still working on my house training. Sometimes I urinate a bit when picked up. My foster mom is working faithfully with me and I'm confident I'll be house trained very soon! I would be best in a home without young kids that may overwhelm or grab me. I'm ready to find my furever home. Will you open your heart for me?Whitney is up to date on all vaccines, microchipped, spayed and on heart worm and flea/tick preventatives. Story
Penny is still in need of her forever home. Penny was surrendered to a shelter in September from her home of 10 years.  She is currently living with a foster family in DFW, where she is being treated like queen. Penny is a great dog, very loyal to her humans, but needs to be in a home without kids and without other animals. She free roams in the house, does not get on furniture, is potty trained and listens to commands. She thought she had found her new forever family when she was adopted in October, but she was returned back to her foster after she got in a tiff with her new sibling.Give Penny a chance, she will be the best dog you ever had! Age: 10 years  Weight: 48 lbs If you are interested in meeting/adopting her, please complete an adoption application and someone will be in touch within 48 hours.  https://legacyhumanesociety.org/adoptfoster/adoption-application/ We do not have a facility to house the dogs in our program. They are all kept in foster homes until they are adopted.
