Story
Who’s ready for Puggle Time? My name is Munchkin and yup, I’m a puggle (that’s a mix of a pug and beagle). I’m 11 years old and looking for my forever home. I’m taller than your average pug – about “knee height” and around 24 pounds. Foster mum says I’m one happy girl. My tail is always wagging and I love to meet new people and pugs. I know how to sit for treats and although I rarely, rarely bark – when I do I sound just like a beagle (if you’ve ever heard a beagle bark you know what I mean – ha). I’m pretty active – I love to play with other dogs and I’m always up for a new adventure. I’m house trained and learned how to use the doggie door in no time at all. I lost my left eye to glaucoma and I need drops in my remaining eye to prevent any problems – but I’m really good about getting my drops. Oh one other thing, I don’t hear very well. Have you seen my adorable pictures? – I love to sleep all curled up. So if you’re looking for a new friend – pick me! Ask for Munchkin on your application today!

Story
Blu was acquired from a shelter in Waco, TX. He is currently 4 years old. We are looking for a new home that has lots of room for him to run around and play outside. Blu is energetic but will tire himself out so you don't have to worry about constantly playing with him. He enjoys car rides and the park. He is also crate trained and house broken.

Story
Looking for a gentle lady to keep you company? My name is Madonna and I am a darling 10-year-old fawn Pug that is looking for a forever family. I am kinda unique in that I am missing something most people have: my eyes! I still get around just fine, but need a special family that will help me get outside to potty and be patient with me as I learn my new home. I am a loving and gentle Pug that will give kisses and roll over for belly rubs once I get to know you! I sleep soundly on my doggy bed at night. My foster family believes I should be the one and only pup in the home. Since I don’t see or hear well, other doggies make me nervous. I want all the human attention! Do you blame me?! I can’t wait to meet my forever family. I just know they’re out there, maybe you? I hope so! All you have to do is go to the DFW Pug Rescue website and fill out an application for me: MADONNA!

Story
Double your fun by adopting two Pugs rather than one! We are Dixie Belle and Preston and we are quite the 8-year-old fawn pair! My name is Dixie Belle and I’ll go first because I am the queen bee in this duo! I am beautiful and amazing of course! I do have my moments of grumpiness like when I am deprived of treats I think I deserve! I am otherwise a social and friendly gal. I will sleep in a crate, but I won’t be happy about it. I would prefer to sleep in a cozy dog bed. I am house trained with the occasional accident at night, but will happily use a “pee pad” when I can’t wait until morning. I love going on walks and do great on a leash. I am a fun gal and love stuffed toys with squeakers. I also love Preston so I’ll let him have a turn! Preston here and I am also amazing. I am happy to let Dixie Belle take the spotlight and the toys! Just give me blueberries and peanut butter and I’m a happy guy! I am house trained and walk great on a leash. I love mealtime, but might need to watch my figure! We are an amazing duo that would love to be adopted together! One Pug is great, but two Pugs would be really really great! Please fill out an application at DFW pugs.com.

Story
What’s better than one Puggle? How about 2 Puggles?!? No, it isn’t too good to be true! We are Shadeux and Little Bit and we make quite the pair! I’ll start first since I am the outgoing one. My name is Shadeux and I am an 11-year-old black boy Puggle that loves meeting people and making friends. More friends means more petting and more treats so I’m all for that! I am a darling lap dog that gives kisses freely. My hobbies include playing in the backyard with my best friend Little Bit and eating treats. I am good at this potty outside thing, but I wear a bellyband just in case. I sleep in a dog bed do just fine without a crate. My name is Little Bit and I am the shy and quiet type. All it takes is some kind words and a little patience and we will be buddies in no time. Once we are friends, I am all about being in your lap for love and affection. Don’t worry; you can fit two Puggles on your lap! I am great about going potty outside and love spending time in the back yard catching some fresh air and sunshine. We are quite the pair. We love to snuggle together and even groom each other. If you can’t resist this cute pair, go to the DFW Pug Rescue website and fill out that application. Put our names: LITTLE BIT and SHADEUX and be prepared to fall in love!
